today had sailing training. and its a saturday! I USED A MOE BYTE! AND I USED A MAIN SAIL!!! NOT A JUNIOR SAIL!!! hahaa... sian, when i got to school the school gate was closed, until i stood there for a while and the security guard asked me whether i'm from sailing and i said yah. then they let me in and i realised that Lu Xin was sitting there. then i was like "huh? only lu xin?! OMG!!! ONLY WE TWO?!?!" then i ran to her, and found out that Peck Khee was here too, with Wen Fung, but they were chasing each other around. Wen Fung was killing Peck Khee for something.
Then later I saw Chee Teng walking out from somewhere, with Joeseph. So i was like, heng arr. But there were only 3 girls at the training today. and there were 5 boys : Chee Teng, Joeseph, Liang Hong and Nicholas. Liang Hong and Nic came later, but we had to go specially pick nic up cause he was sorta late. Then later when like 1+ Zachery joined us, but when he sailed i think he sailed with his class or something, not with us can liao. Then he seemed damned pissed off today lar.
We ate lunch early thanks to Liang Hong, who told the uncle at the shop there "ni xian zai zhu, wo men xian zai chi". hahas. then bo pian the uncle cooked liao so gotta eat lor. After that we all gathered outside the pond, only 12+... got into the office there or whatever then we went through the sailing race stuff : start line, different flags raised, etc. Liang Hong and Chee Teng and Nic were being damn lame lar.. we were talking about the courses, when Mrs Sidhu asked Wen Fung to draw the start marks on the whiteboard, since he looked so gong and wasn't paying attention. Then he draw until like dunno what, took so long somemore. Mrs Sidhu said something what "mark 1, 2, 3,4" then Nicholas said "HI-5!" [you know, the Hi-5 ad on Kids Central and stuff..] then mrs sidhu was like "Dots..." then while talking more on the marks, Mrs Sidhu said something like "You go to mark 1, then 2, then 3, and 4" then Nicholas said "and hi-5!!!" hahas. Then Liang Hong said "Catch us soon!" or something then Chee Teng said "book the tickets while stocks last." then we laughed like siao and mrs sidhu was going diao again.
Then we watched a video on sailing. WAH LAO those ang mos are like damn pro lar. how can compare with us?! We're still noobs in this. hahas. halfway through the video [honest, i dunno how long the video was. Maybe it was more than an hour, but mrs sidhu stopped it halfway so that we could go out to sea], Zach popped his head in and talked to mrs sidhu for a while and asked about what mast he use, since the one on Justin's boat was spoiled and Liang Hong was using Justin's boat at the time, so he used Zach's mast.
We were only out at sea for about 2 or 1+ hours. Damn sian. but it seemed like we were out there for 3 or more hours. When Mrs Sidhu asked us to go back to shore we were very happy. Then Peck Khee asked me to change boat with her, since she was using a optimist and i was using a faster boat, the byte. Then she wanted to try what it was like on a byte and i jokingly said "okay lor you go ask mrs sidhu if can change annot lor" then she said "wait for them to come closer..." then when they did she REALLY WENT TO ASK!!! then i kept shouting that i would sink her opti, since optis are for small sized people. Then Mrs Sidhu said "Okay lor, you change with Gwen lor." Then i started screaming more that I would sink her boat and mrs sidhu asked how heavy i was then she said "no lar you won't sink her boat one!!!" then peck khee said mrs sidhu was with her in that boat last time then i was like "HUH?!" then bo pian i switched boats with her lor.
Being in an opti is quite cool, only that it was damn short, so i had difficulty for a sec cause i was practically banging my head on the boom every second. Mrs Sidhu kept going "Gwen, sit on the ledge of the boat, not on the inside!" and i swear, mrs sidhu and ms cheng were sorta smiling or laughing abit. Cause i guess it seemed pretty comical for a byte sailor and an optimist to switch boats.
Wen Fung saw me he went "WHAT THE HECK?! what are you doing on an OPTI?!?!" hahaha. Then I finally asked Peck Khee to change cause it was hard being in an opti cause the boom was so SHORT! Then okay lar, change back liao I was happy. Peck Khee said being in a byte was fun cause it was fast [or something liddat]... i was so happy to get my byte back.
everyone was avoiding the shore... dunno why. When Chee Teng and Liang Hong could obviously go get their trolleys for their bytes and get back to shore earlier, since they reached the middle of the breakwaters and observation/fishing deck faster than us, but they didn't bother and just carried on sailing between the breakwater and the observation deck or something [where people go fishing]. then they kept standing up in their bytes and rocking their bytes [so that they can move faster, in a light wind condition] and I was sitting in my byte doing 'illegal pedalling' back to shore. As in, you move the tiller extension left and right, left and right. That also helped me to move faster. Wen Fung kept challenging me to stand up in my boat, saying that I didn't dare and that I was scared, a scaredy cat!!! Then whenever I stood up, I would sit down after a while cause I was damn sian lar, dowan to stand so long. Later Liang Hong and Chee Teng think we copying them.... hahas. that was why i sat down. Then Wen Fung kept going "HAHAHA DON'T DARE STAND?!?! SCAREDY CAT LAR!" bo pian lar.... he's such a pest!!!
aiyaaa maybe later tomorrow or something then post more. hands tired. typed too quickly.. hahas.
And oh ya, ms cheng made me do 20 [pushups] today for forgetting to put back the lifejackets of mrs sidhu and ms cheng Liang Hong passed to me when we were unrigging. WAH LAO LOR!!! Thats unfair, when passing the life jackets he said to Chee Teng "this is called abusing authority. HAHAHAHA" wah lao. EVERY WEEK its me. Who puts back the life jackets I meant. Then the life jackets is Ms Cheng and Mrs Sidhu passed to Liang Hong for HIM to put back but he passed it to me cause i'm his JUNIOR! like, HAHAHAHA.
