Germany vs. England

I love the photos I took at Singapore River with Cia that day, especially this one and the one a few posts back?? I think I should stop posting them up one by one. Shall post all of them up in a single blog post soon!

I REALLY NEED TO SHOP. Then again, I also REALLY NEED MONEY. Waiting for my next paycheque. No money no shop no talk. I should stop being poor now.

Germany vs. England in half an hour. Suckz to da core cuz I support both Germany and England. Ultimately I've been supporting Germany since the last World Cup but this year's different.

!!

I wanna ask everyone who actually sees this something!

Is my tagboard a bit screwed up? I know when I myself click on it sometimes it doesn't work or the tagboard's top/bottom half doesn't show up. Does this happen to just me or everyone who bothered clicking on it??

On a side note, I should prolly wish

my in-your-dreams hubby Samir Nasri,
one of my favourite 2PM boys Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul,
and my favourite iCarly actress Jennette McCurdy

a HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!

Changes

So many plans on my mind, too little money to execute.

Either that or I'm just plain lazy.

1. I've been considering upgrading to a Canon/Nikon DSLR. Either way, selling off my Sony on Clubsnap to get money for the upgrade would be easy but whether I'll be able to live without a DSLR for a few months (I'm predicting I wouldn't bear to part with about 500bucks in one shot so I'll have to work for it) is another story altogether.

2. Considering reverting to Blogger's basic templates. Though I wouldn't say 'reverting'. More of 'changing to' because I've been using blogskins I made for myself since.. ever. I made this one myself too and people like Belle or Drey would know it took me a day to make this perfect, and up 'till now I'm editing the codes here and there to make it better. Recoding HTML isn't easy.

Also, the words on this blogskin aren't just there fo' show. It meant something back then to me.. and those words kept me going. Not sure if I'm willing to demolish my efforts and use something everyone else is using. Fancy schmancy, the new template's easier to navigate around though! AND SO MUCH NEATER. See how I'm just dumping all my formspring.me, counters and music codes around? Or maybe I should just code myself an extra space at the right side to neaten things up around here. Opinions?

3. Wondering whether to get a BB + iTouch like what Aaron suggested, or to just get the iPhone. The main reason I want a phone like that's cuz I want to be able to use the Internet wherever, and my Nokia phone kinda sucks for that.. :| Anyways yeah Aaron told me get BB + iTouch but I hate the Internet interface for BB! And rumours are that the iPhone 4G's glitchy. I think Tim would get the iPhone 4G though! (He just lost his new iPhone 3GS ) Shall wait and see.

4. Myself. Everyone has to change (for the better) at some point. As for matters of the heart.. well I've talked to Alex and got her opinion. Thanks babe, what you said meant so much to me. I hope I know what I'm doing. I know I won't become emoshizz again, so I'm hoping for the best :)

Mind Cafe

Met Mel, Manda and Cia today! Its been so long. Felt quite nice to see them again though I must admit I felt a bit awkward because its been too long since I really talked to them as a whole, but fun nevertheless. Headed down to Minds Cafe at Boat Quay and by golly, it was FAR. Got off at Raffles Place MRT and walked for quite a while before we found the damned place.

Okay I cannot believe I just said "by golly".

The place smelt like pee. Yeah well duh because the toilet was situated right behind us.

Ordered beef lasagna while Cia ordered some chicken thing to share. We played so many different boardgames like True Colour, Sitting Duck, Guesstunes (like charades).. pretty fun!

Walked to Fullerton, then The Central, enjoyed the scenery, saw a dried up dead frog, bought watermelon-flavoured Stickys which I've yet to eat.. Awesome day!

By the way, happy birthday. I'm wondering how you're doing.

Of Stars and Pillows

I'm finally back from Genting! Fatter and uglier than ever before, with a cold and sore throat. Gained 2kg and came back sniffling and sneezing the on the precarious car ride back. The signs of a typical Singaporean edging itself out as I realised a road trip more than 2hours long posed as a threat to me. I could've died.

So the trip was pretty fun. Staying there? Not so much. Loved the cold weather, hated how boring it was because it was just.. Genting. Nothing new, nothing old.

Continuing more on my trip tomorrow or some other day with more photos so just watch this space.

Observing stars on the trip back made my day. I love stars so much. Years ago, _ had such a hard time guiding me by the shoulders because all I did was walk with my head facing the sky. Stopped doing that in recent years, realised it made me look silly.

Makes me wonder why I live in a city. There's so much light pollution here that I can't see anything.

Your Kiss

About a week+ ago I met up with the girls for lunch. We had a major camwhoring session and I taught them how to do the heartshape with your fingers. We took one shot with Joey's Macbook and in the end they gave up.

We camwhored for God knows how long. Terribly long, infact. The staff from Nebo kept staring at us especially this guy. I bet he was thinking, "Wtf why are these girls still here. First they got Macbook to Photobooth with. Now they got DSLR?! WHAT THE!?"

Anyways yeah, I've not yet edited the photos we took that day from my DSLR. Everything's on FB, though! Hah, the wonders of FB when you're just plain lazy.. you gotta admit, it comes in handy sometimes.

Meeting Rei tomorrow to shop and eat Indian food at either Ion or FEP! I'm tired of shopping at FEP though, everything there's so common. Its like if one girl in Singapore has that particular item, chances are at least 10 more girls have that item too.

Oh well, cheap thrills always get the better of me :P

Things to get?: (More) concealer /Sephora, Shorts /Topshop??, Accessories /anywhere, Shoes /New Look/F21/anywhere, really (as long as my feet are comfy), Denim long-sleeved shirt /Cotton On, Tops /F21..

I need my F21 fix now really! I need more clothes. Looking through Lookbook (pun not intended!) makes me wish I were skinny so that I could pull off all those awesome outfits. I would love to buy clothes like that but the chances of me being able to pull it off? Real slim.

(Hey that sounds like a pun right there! Really, I didn't intend for it until I was re-reading my blog post to check for spelling errors.)

The boys on the webpage are terribly cute, handsome and whatnot! Even if they aren't, they dress really well. Gotta love a boy with an awesome fashion sense, and that website's filled with boys like that. Guys like that are hard to spot in Singapore :(

OH BUT I SAW ONE WITH ANIKA TODAY AFTER DANCE! We walked up and down Cineleisure to cool down. Well, he wasn't good-looking, but his dressing was awesome. Um, minus the floral-print cap, maybe.

Breakfast

"Would you fancy a traditional English breakfast of tea, french toast and scrambled eggs?"

Well okay that's the first thing that came to mind while resizing the photos. Was trying to imagine Charlie McDonnell saying it.

Yerrrrp. Ker introduced me to his videos and I've been watching them since.. ever.

He's like the quirkiest and cutest dork. I love him! He's kinda like my dream guy really. Typical Brit guy with an accent (I mean, who DOESN'T love a British accent? It makes me melt even if the guy has average looks), who's a bit of a dork with a good sense of humour. Yup.. my dream guy definitely. (Not like Elizabeth's dream guy which is technically a "pretty boy", which is also technically like a boy who is prettier than you, who is skinnier than you and who ALSO puts on makeup better than YOU okay moving on!)

So we had our traditional coffee shop breakfast -- Kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs and hot Milo. We both spent a total of $7.50 for breakfast actually. Know why? We both decided to try the dim sum, and ordered a plate of fan choy (rice + roasted pork slices) and 3 small ha-kao (steamed prawn dumplings) each. That cost me 5 bucks, but it was worth the money.

Since it was pouring cats and dogs (and it got heavier by the hour), I went down to her house since it was impossible for me to make it home dry. I'd have to take a bus from opposite the 'HDB block bus stop' -- Mayflowerians like to give our bus stop names. We have 'opp. Bishan Park bus stop', 'Bishan Park bus stop', 'HDB block bus stop' and 'KB Mac bus stop' -- and when I alight at the AMK Central bus stop, I'd be stuck there.

Good thing I didn't decide to try going home, too. The rain was heavy enough to cause a very bad flood in Orchard Road. (Yes, that's a link to a Youtube video)

Used her MBP (Macbook Pro), played Rabbids on her Wii, had lunch at the coffee shop near KB Mac with her parents and they gave me a lift home.

The moment I finished watching iCarly, I fell asleep. Awesome. I slept from prolly 4.45pm to 10.30pm. Ah, the usual piggery. *satisfied*

Anyways, I can't seem to stop eating. Okay I don't eat continuously, but for some reason since about a week back, I've been eating a lot. For someone who had a terrible appetite to eat only one meal a day without snacking in between, my appetite suddenly increased by a lot. I eat all three meals and sometimes snack lightly in between. I feel bloated everyday and I feel pudgy. I HATE feeling pudgy. My stomach's sticking out like a sore thumb and its horrible cuz my self-esteem dropped by a lot this week.

I pray pray pray!! that I'm bloating up because my period's coming. I gained 1kg my gawd. I'M SERIOUS, for someone my weight, 1kg is A LOT. And I'm not extremely tall either so it adds on to the damaged self-esteem really.

Shall update more next time with photos from the BFF's dinner and sleepover..

Yeah I know. It was cool for a while but it hurt my eyes while I tried to blog.

I miss doing GIFs like these! I remember how in Sec 3 I kept doing these and posting them up.

Alright, its currently 6:47am. Gotta wake up at 10 for tuition, collect my passport from the immigration authorities building at Lavender at 4 and go down to *Scape for dance by 8.30. Gonna be a hell tiring day, gotta catch 'em Zzz's so I'm outta here!

Beanie-

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY EILEEN LEE YING LING! ♥
(The Queen of all things Pink)

Otanjoubi omedetou! I know I've wished you via messaging and FB, but still. Ah crap, I can't find the photo I took of her pink room! Oh well its on Facebook.

Okay, that's all.

No, I'm serious! That's all.

Sorry, the laziness in me kicks in at times like these when I have too many photos to edit + Photobucket's being an asshole. Lets see when PB decides to stop treating me like crap and treating me wid lurrbes.

Ker's

Shall blog about yesterday first since I have so much time on my hands now. Will edit this post later to upload the photos!

Met the girls to celebrate Ker's birthday. Alex and I met earlier to get her birthday present, and I'm still thankful we snagged up the 2nd-last copy of FRIENDS. Ker kept calling cuz I was mad late. She called initially at 2.20pm asking me where I was and I said I just left home. Can you imagine? 1hr later I'm still not at Broadway Plaza??? It doesn't take me more than 15mins to get there!

Got sushi and biscuits from NTUC for Beanie. While paying we remembered there was still another price tag on the DVDs, so I took it out and stuck it on my jacket, telling Alex, ''My denim jacket's this price!!'' Rushed down to Broadway Plaza's KBox. They got room 8, my favourite number. Ker loved our present. :)

A few songs later she tugged at my jacket. She then pulled out a sticker stuck on the edge of my jacket...

..it was the pricetag.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Epic Gwen Moment. Sorry Ker! And Alex! I honestly forgot to take it out when we left NTUC!

After KBox we sat at the pushcarts area and slacked. Kept hinting Ker to go to the Foodcourt for dinner but she was insistent on going home. The initial plan was that I tell her I can't make it for dinner, then I'll run down to get a cake for Ker to surprise her. Nic couldn't make it for KBox so I told her we'll meet and get the cake.

Nic and I ended up panicking over text messaging cuz Ker didn't want dinner! It's kinda funny now that I think of it -- ''How?? How?!'' All of us frantically planning wondering what to do next while Ker calmly suggested we go home cuz she was tired.

In the end Alex and I ''escaped'' by ''going to the toilet''. (Well, okay the apostrophes aren't required cuz we really did go to the toilet.) Met Nic and bought this yummy chocolate fudge cake from Polar. Saw the cake I had for my own birthday celebration with the girls and guys and felt a bit chui (moodless).

STUPID NEBO PEOPLE I'LL REMEMBER YOU FOR LIFE FOR EATING MY CAKE!

We didn't have a lighter so we went outside. Nic was damn gung ho cuz she approached smokers and asked them to help her light up the candle in her hand. We brought cake with the lighted candles from outside all the way inside. Needless to say, by the time we got there the candles had already melted like mad.

Alex and Beanie bought back dinner to my house and we bitched/online-shopped/Pokka tea-ed and watched like half an episode of Scrubs. I love Zach Braff! Gerald Neo, its time for you to buy the Scrubs Season 2 DVDs! I've watched all my Season 1 episodes at least 7 times already!

So yeah, a pretty lengthy post. All in all, Ker I really hope you had a good time!
