HTHT

Went to play beach volleyball with Alex, Kerrie, Aaron, Darren and Deyuan at Sentosa yesterday.

To me the beach volley was only alright. The awesomest part of the day was the HTHT (Heart-To-Heart-Talk) with Alex, Aaron, Darren and Deyuan on Vivo City's rooftop area after dinner! Alex suggested lying down and we all lay side-by-side, looking up at the stars and putting our feets in the water as we talked.

It was insightful yet funny. Insightful when Darren gives deep, matured answers to some thoughts we had and funny when Aaron would squat infront of him, look him in the face and say, "I. Disagree!", cutting Darren short of his.. 'deep moment'. I really appreciate true friends like them and somehow, I know we'll be friends for a long time because they are genuine people. I like people who are genuine, as opposed to people who are just.. come and go?

Alex and I concluded that girls are horrible people. We are backstabbers and total hypocrites. "Well, with the exception of one girl-friend." I told her.

"Who's that?"

"Celine! Haha. She never has any problems with anyone and is really THAT nice. So nice that no one actually finds any faults with her too. That's why I love her."

The day I saw on FB that she was considering doing foundation studies overseas, I cried. I didn't want her to go :( Thank goodness its only just a consideration. I have faith in you girl! Don't give up, its gonna be one more year and you'll be free!

Okay sorry about digressing.

Anyway, so yeah. The HTHT was really nice. We really asked them questions we never asked any guy before (like what they liked about girls, and if they could tell if girls were trying to flirt with them. To which they answered, "OF COURSE!! Its DAMN obvious when girls try to flirt." Tsk, girls, if you think guys didn't feel it, THINK AGAIN) and like what Alex said on her blog, we got to know what dudes think much better, and also things we.... um.. wouldn't wanna know about dudes.

With the things that have been happening around me and Alex, it was nice getting some guys opinions. :)

From having our backs on the ground, facing the sky, feets in the water, we moved on to having our feets still in the water while leaning over the barrier of the rooftop pond-thingy while chatting. That felt good too. At first it was Alex and I who did that as the dudes sat there talking. Suddenly they came over and Aaron was like, "You didn't think you could run away from us, DID YOU?"

We talked 'till pretty late in the night, around 11.30pm. Darren went to catch the last train while the rest of us cabbed home, continuing the whole 'BFF *heartz*' thing on the cab.

Deyuan received a call that made him go "What. The. F***?????!" at least 5-7 times and he later revealed that Darren missed his train when he was at Outram. (He had to change trains)

Aaron persuaded him to take a taxi home instead of walking home from Outram ("I'LL PAY FOR YOUR CAB FARE LA. MONEY NO MATTER!! JUST. TAKE. A TAXI. HOME!") and a long while later Darren called back. Guess what?

He took a cab to the MRT station after Outram, and caught the train he missed.

"NANI?!?!!" (That's Japanese, btw)
