Merry Christmas!
Photoshop is being such a bitch.
I hate the fact that my laptop's screen is small enough, let alone the laptop itself lagging every minute. Not much of an exaggeration here - My laptop likes to hang on me almost every 5 minutes, unless I'm blogging.
Blogger is my sanctuary for now.
Christmas wasn't a very happy occasion for me either. Apart from the fact that my family never got ourselves into the Christmas mood (except for the period of time our old neighbours gave us this plastic Christmas tree that could sit wonderfully on our side table. That tree is now in dustbin heaven after the "branches" decided not to stay on.. I think), I got into an argument with my dad over work a few days ago and have not been talking much to him since.
Like a spoilt brat, I refused to go out for dinner yesterday. The only temptation was chili crab, which my mom offered to eat with me. I was excitedly getting ready, wearing nicer clothes rather than just my usual of a teeshirt, shorts and slippers, even though I knew we were just going to a coffee shop nearby. (I dressed nicely cuz we were going to my uncle's place after that)
My mom just gave a shocked look when I came out of my room, "Wear until so nice for what?"
Ugh. These are just some of the days I sometimes wished she just kept quiet and didn't say anything. I sulked and went back into my room. Apparently the frustration built up over work for the past month suddenly burst out of me.
Not like I could help it, its a human thing, you know?
I locked myself in my room and told her I didn't feel like having dinner anymore. She made a huge fuss and said if I didn't go, she wouldn't either. I knew she'd do this, so I just didn't budge. In the end she left without me. I was rather happy - I would rather be alone when I'm in a grumpy mood than face my parents over the dinner table.
My beloved dish of chili crab just flew out the window. Sigh.
I attempted cooking my instant pasta over the stove instead of the microwave like I always do. Burnt my tongue while tasting the sauce and checking if the pasta is soft enough.
Lesson learnt.. Be a spoilt brat and heaven will punish you in one way or another.
Watched The Osbourne's Christmas Special on MTV while cooking and ate my pasta while watching my 9pm Chinese drama. It is true that meals you cook yourself will always be tastier, or so I learnt as I consumed my pasta in peace and quiet - something I will have to get used to when Aunty Tun leaves for her hometown for good this 31st.
Like what my friends say, "NO MORE AWESOME FOOD FROM YOUR MAID?! Aw, so sad.. so sad."
Anyway, photos to remind myself its Christmas:

Everything
After receiving a call - which wasn't a good one - from my dad, everything seemed to begin going downhill. For starters, my dad's scolding lasted a good 5-7 minutes, which resulted in me just missing the bus, which also resulted in me losing a few Taiwanese customers who were at the Learning Centre before I was.
I guess I can't bargain for a day better than this, huh?
We had a movie marathon yesterday over at Kerrie's place! Thank you hun for inviting us over. Sadly, I took out my camera really late and therefore, the lack of photos.
Then we had the flea market over at St. James Power Station.
It was awesome, except for the fact that I didn't get to watch Tammy Tay's fashion show due to the fact I forgot my IC and misplaced my Ez-Link card.
Not to freak anyone out but can you see that weird skin-coloured-like shadow behind my hand that's holding on to the Sony strap? (Not the one holding the lens cover)
I scared myself silly, so much that I couldn't go back to sleep. I was sitting on my bed, no pillows around me so it couldn't be my pillows. (My pillows are orange and green)
Worse still, its translucent at the top and opaque at the bottom!
It was taken at prolly 2AM. Thank heavens its daytime now while I'm blogging.
As of now, I'm falling asleep. Om nom nom..

'Twas the Night of Musicals
I didn't take much. By the time we managed to navigate our way through the massive buildings in an unfamiliar landscape, we were almost late for the musical. Thankfully, the moment we sat down, the musical started.
It was a good night/show, with the only regret being the fact that I didn't read the given booklet before the musical started. I sat there with my face in a frown, wondering what the particular scene was about - and that happened most of the time. Only by reading the plot thoroughly as soon as I got home did I understand what it was about.
Likiong's violin-playing was awesome - soothing to the ears. I hate it when guys like him and Winston are so good with instruments because I wish I could be more like them. I got quite a shock when I saw that Winston was the composer and pianist on the booklet. That's really impressive!
I just realised that all the girls in the group shot are from 4E'09.
How awesome.
Musical Night
Watch this space cuz I'm working right now and Cam2's not with me. Should've brought the memory cards to upload the photos hm.
Catching up with Nadya jiejie over MSN. As a kid, I really looked up to her. So you could only imagine how much I missed her when she left for Australia. Catching up with her never felt better. I do hope she comes back soon.

"You would not believe your eyes, if ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep"
Non-Kpop fans should watch this too! I found it funny how they used SNSD's Gee dance for a Chinese folk song!
Its been a while since I updated myself with Kpop videos and all that smush since I'm currently into the likes of Justin Bieber, Pixie Lott and Taylor Lautner..
Hey, who could resist this dude?
I watched New Moon again for the second time yesterday with Bernice, and boy you should've heard the cinema go "OOooooooOOohhhhhhh~!", "AHHHHHH!", and "*Gasp* EEEEK HAHA OMG JACOB!" when the wigged version of Jacob took off his shirt to wipe Bella's blood. Basically, when he did that the girls in the cinema started giggling and wishing Taylor Lautner was theirs.
Well, Taylor Lautner is "Kinda beautiful", isn't he?
Bern was squeeeeealing in delight with the other girls that filled the cinema. I'll have to admit, so did I. I prolly giggled more than her at the sight of his sculpted and toned body. Suddenly, Bern exclaims, "Bella gets to hug both Jacob and Edward! When they're topless!"
Before the movie, we proceeded to doing a typical Singaporean thing - jalan jalan.
We stopped by this huge 'tree' made of Ferrero Rochers. It was a beautiful sight for the chocolate-lover which could be no one else but me. We decided: When we walk past this place again, we'll whip out my CamCam and snap a photo of each of us under this magnificent thing.
And we did.
I was rather embarassed. There was already a crowd of people posing by the tree, just like what we were about to do. The brave and I-don't-care-what-others-think Bernice stepped forward and asked a random guy to help us snap a photo.
We did some shopping at the new mall - 313 @ Somerset.
I have this thing against new malls. They are always overcrowded, rain or shine. It was pretty annoying, having to squeeze through the massive crowds of Singaporeans and Foreigners alike. We got to New Look - a new favourite shop of mine - and tried on some shoes for the fun of it.
If we could explain ourselves, we'd say, "The shoes around us are not ours!"
Which really is the truth, and nothing but the truth. A staff who was clearing the shoes asked if we wanted any pairs, thinking ALL the shoes belonged to us. We could only awkwardly (to me) tell her that infact, none of those were ours.
Someone created a Facebook group which had "If Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift got married, they'd BOTH be Taylor Lautner!" for a title. It'll prolly look something like this:
+
TAYLOR SWIFT
= TAYLOR LAUTNER
Taylor Lautner's hosting SNL!
I heard his skit was funny. I wanna watch it soooo bad but sadly I don't think any of my channels have SNL. I feel like a little miserable kid right about now.
Kristen's reaction made me laugh. "You kinda remind me of my mom" is like a comment making fun of the older women who lust after Taylor Lautner.
By the way, I saw this video on underage-girl.blogspot.com's blog that I thought I should share:
IS IT FUNNY OR WHAT?!
It didn't probe my funny bone till the lizard ran across the water and I started laughing out loud. First time a documentary of an animal made me laugh so hard. I never knew animals could be this funny!
Shall end off with some photos I took of Natalie! :)
