Beanie smsed me and I was like brisk-walking out of my room to turn on the TV. Heh so good to see SHINee on TV! But Taeminnie wasn't there :( still having school, perhaps.

My parents are thinking of buying a Wii after we played Rabbids at Garian's. But now they're saying since me and my bro's major exams are coming they don't really want to. Aw shucks!

I'm excited cuz my parents want me to go for badminton classes with Loongloong! He was pestering me the whole time we were practising yesterday. "Eh join us for badminton lessons leh!" Yaaaayz. Private class so 80bucks omg. But one thing I won't be able to stand is the physical training before the playing part.

Uncle Henry was like saying (cuz I didn't join my parents for dinner as I stayed back to play somemore and watch the kids play till 8pm), "You're addicted to badminton already ah Gwen! You like the feeling of smashing right?"

Then uncle KK told him, "Yeah next time she'll like smashing at her mommy and daddy too!"

Told my parents to book a badminton court every week so we can play and train. EXCITED!

Then again, if I go for badminton classes, every Sunday I'll be playing badminton from 2pm to 8pm. And if my parents book a court every week day..

OMG AWESOME I TOTALLY DON'T MIND!

My Mom got me a new grip from Loongloong's coach yesterday. Bright yellow! Matches my racket! Btw my bro just bought a new Nano Arc-something- 55 racket yesterday which is damn dumb! Cuz now he has like 4 expensive rackets? One Nano White and one spare! Walao, I only got one expensive racket can. Not even a spare.

(And my parents say I spend a lot on sailing. Yeh see who's spending more? His rackets+badminton bag totals up to like $450+ okay.)

Okay should stop talking about badminton now.


I'm annoyed tho cuz my mom changed my tuition to Wednesday without telling me. I woke up with a very bad headache again and she was like, "Are you sure you can annot? Want me to make the time to 10AM?"

So tuition from Sunday, changed to Monday, changed to Wednesday. Ugh. I feel so bad. Sorry Vincent!

But to be honest I'm dreading tuition nowadays. Perhaps its cuz I don't have any motivation. I don't like tuition. Sigh. Must get my enthusiasm for Emath back!

I totally can't sleep and I am looking like crap.

You know.. night cream/moisturizers (omg I even spelt that word wrong!) and sleepless nights don't go well together??! Yeh they don't go well together at all!

Now I look horrible. Ugh wanna bang a wall and die now kthxbye.

Oh we played Rabbids at Aunty Belinda's place on their Wii! Awesomely fun game, everyone who owns a Wii should play that unless they're into gore. Okay they have cartoon bunnies getting stuck in bubbles, falling off drains and getting hit by cars (the losers get it la).

Haji Lane

Shall blog about things I should've blogged about days back!


So that day, I spent 1 hour plus lying on my bed, stomach started hurting very badly after eating one slice of bread for my breakfast. Drank Milo but it made my urge to dash for the toilet to puke more.

Went out with Zahra jiejie. Plan was, first stop - IT Fair @ Suntec City. Second stop - Haji Lane. Third stop - Wheelock @ Orchard to go to Browhaus.


In the end we left at late so we skipped the IT Fair.

We took a train down. Contemplated trying out the new Circle Line but decided it was too much of a hassle.



But when the train reached Bishan, we just hopped off without even knowing where to go.


Zahra jiejie bought like 6 hairbands from Soon Lee, all $12.90 each and some 19bucks I think.

Saw Winteng's email and name on their mailing list and immediately messaged her. Turns out it really was her (and I gave her quite a scare) and we met on the streets.

After that it was the Ohsofickle boutique and then Loft, which is now my fav shop in Haji Lane!

On our way back from Haji Lane there was an angmoh and a Chinese man (both old) chatting and when I walked past he said, "Hey, thats a really nice camera you got there."

Zahra jiejie told me, "He's from your dad's time probably. Thats why he thinks you have great taste in cameras!"

She bought for herself the keychain camera ($24) and bought for me my Black Devil camera ($60).

Went to Browhaus @ Wheelock and after that went for dinner at Sun and Moon.



Damn atas-looking place heehee. Our bill was like 70+bucks for 2 people? Felt bad cuz she keeps treating me, so I paid for my beef soba.

I look too excited, given the fact that its just a bowl of beef soba. Really, really yummy bowl of beef soba. Oh well. I think I look damn shag too (SEE. THE. EYEBAGS!); guess I haven't been getting much sleep at all these past few days/weeks.


Okay need to go bathe. Supposed to reach Aunty Belinda's place by 7 for dinner but I'm not even ready and its like raining.

I just had the weirdest dream.

I openly shouted at a person and we sorta had this fight in school, which was damn cool actually.

The sec4 sailors were in my dreams too I DON'T KNOW WHY. It was like, deja vu? Cuz it was during the times I used to eat recess with them everyday. We were just sitting there laughing damn loudly like no one's business. I woke up smiling cuz of that I swear. Gosh I really love those people.

Yeah we kinda made this bet-thing that we'd tell each other our Chinese results first thing on the day we got 'em back and see who scores higher. Was during the last day of camp success during our break after the DPA talk haha. He's such an idiot, really :P

Anyway I went to get my hair cut! Was really reluctant till I saw the shitty state my fringe was in. Got it trimmed. My hair's significantly shorter now and I miss my old hair! Gosh, this is why I'm always reluctant to cut my hair.

Belle was telling us that sailing's getting 2 new teachers -- one new Indian lady teacher and one new D&T teacher who sailed a laser before -- because Mr Yeo and Mr Chwee are leaving, one for NIE and another to further his studies respectively.

I was thinking about the topic of friends earlier.

Some friends I've had, some friends I've lost. Some, I just can't be bothered. Some, I just want them back because I miss them.

Went to her place to surprise her at like 9:20AM. She was still asleep and in her pajamas.

AGEK presented her with her birthday cake -- which we painstakingly (exaggeration much intended!) baked and put pink icing on for her. Why I couldn't blog yesterday was cuz Cia and Kerrie came over to bake!

Haley was a good girl today, and alongside Eileen, was the main attraction and focus of our attention. Obviously Beanie was the star but oh well, limelights can be stolen!

Played and camwhored with Haley. Slacked around and I almost fell asleep cuz I slept so late yesterday! I've not been sleeping early at all. From sleeping at 3AM to sleeping at 6:30AM to sleeping at -current time- the past few days respectively, I don't think my brain will function if I keep this up.

Caught a bus to Bugis. Initial plan was to go to Kbox, but decided to shop instead. Went to Illuma but it was BORING LIKE SHIT. Walked down Haji Lane, which was amazingly quiet and rather peaceful.

Most shops were still closed cuz we got there around 1pm, so I felt bummed. So was Eileen -- she was expecting so much more from the famous Haji Lane!

Shopped at Bugis Village after that.


Went to Harbourfront Centre to meet the sailors. Took the purple line with Beanie, but I took it to Harbourfront while she to Punggol's side.

Supposed to join them for the movie to celebrate Teng's belated birthday, but already had plans to celebrate Beanie's. Took a bloody long time to find them cuz there were two Starbucks and I went to the one at Harbourfront Centre. =.=

Walked past the waiting place for people taking the ferry to Indo on the 3rd floor (?). Felt nice to see the huge full-length windows that allowed people to stare out to the sea and the ferries again. I like that spot, and believe I could camp there if there was ever a chance.

Sitting there at night is a nice feeling. I know cuz I ever sat there once with a person and it felt nice to see stars, the sea AND boats.

(I am a sucker for stars.)


Trained to Mubarak's to play street soccer, also transferred to the Circle Line. The whole time, Weiming and Mubarak (more WM) were trying to talk me into going to Singapore Poly instead of Ngee Ann Poly.

Watched the sweaty guys play soccer till about 10PM and walked home with Yuanlong, Justin Law and Lianghong. The rest cabbed back cuz they all lived in Bishan -- convenient.


When we walked past AMK Park, Lianghong wanted to go see if couples were fu- having sex. He said he saw couples doing that twice before. Me and Yuanlong were like "WTF YOU WANT US TO GO THERE TO SEE PEOPLE HAVE SEX??!"

Went anyway and saw no couples doing THAT, thank God! Saw many adult couples cuddling tho, and LH was like, "Wait till the park lights turn off..!"

Supposed to walk down with YL to the bus stop but I never really walk down that path. Only did so once or twice after work in December. The long path along the AMK MRT tracks.


Shall focus on the UEFA Euro U21 match between Sweden and Belarus now. Belarus was the country Arshavin used to play for, can tell from the jerseys I saw him in before.

They are getting sooooo trashed by Sweden tho.

Whoa, that randomly came to mind.. I guess I got trashed too much in badminton today by the kiddos, which is prolly not a good thing.

Parents had a mahjong session at Uncle KK's place after badminton practice so we came back late.

Tho I'm happy to say, I got my interest for badminton back again. Perhaps its due to the fact that its one of the only ways I can connect with my parents.

Can't wait to train next week.

Watched a stupid movie which Arnold Swarshwohroiwr-whateverhisname starred in. Me and Loongloong almost fell asleep, but we ended up in a Garfield-and-stuffed-toy radio toy fight in the movie room.. thing.

I am happy that I ate Kinder Bueno today! Yum yum.


I am pretty bored right now. Very tempted to go play Maple Story again but I know if I do that, I'll end up sleeping at 5AM -- if my eyes allow it.

Shall blog about my day with Zahra jiejie another time, when she uploads the pictures. She came over to my place that day thinking she'd spend it only making bazhang (rice dumplings) but little did she know..

Also, I lay in bed for about an hour because my stomach hurt after eating a slice of bread for breakfast that day. Mom made me drink Milo thinking it'd make me feel better but it just made my urge to go dashing into the toilet to puke, more. (Exactly how I felt when I had stomach flu/virus/whatever! in January, 'cept I really puked throughout the 4 days I was sick.)


p.s. Totally in love with the TV series Scrubs. Zach Braff was totally cute in season 1! Gonna go to HMV to get the DVD for the series soon. His birthday's April 6th!

Pray for wisdom and to be able to forgive. Pray for good health in months to come. Pray for my friends and for my family. Pray for all this nonsense to be over and for problems to be solved.

No point holding a grudge or having hatred for a person. Even so, forgiving a person only does me good, not the person whom I'm forgiving. To them its like, "Who cares if you forgive me or not! I'm still living my life fine and dandy." but to the person who can't forgive (and prolly hates), its harmful cuz she/he's always not happy and stressed when the hated person is mentioned or gossiped about.
