Your Kiss

About a week+ ago I met up with the girls for lunch. We had a major camwhoring session and I taught them how to do the heartshape with your fingers. We took one shot with Joey's Macbook and in the end they gave up.

We camwhored for God knows how long. Terribly long, infact. The staff from Nebo kept staring at us especially this guy. I bet he was thinking, "Wtf why are these girls still here. First they got Macbook to Photobooth with. Now they got DSLR?! WHAT THE!?"

Anyways yeah, I've not yet edited the photos we took that day from my DSLR. Everything's on FB, though! Hah, the wonders of FB when you're just plain lazy.. you gotta admit, it comes in handy sometimes.

Meeting Rei tomorrow to shop and eat Indian food at either Ion or FEP! I'm tired of shopping at FEP though, everything there's so common. Its like if one girl in Singapore has that particular item, chances are at least 10 more girls have that item too.

Oh well, cheap thrills always get the better of me :P

Things to get?: (More) concealer /Sephora, Shorts /Topshop??, Accessories /anywhere, Shoes /New Look/F21/anywhere, really (as long as my feet are comfy), Denim long-sleeved shirt /Cotton On, Tops /F21..

I need my F21 fix now really! I need more clothes. Looking through Lookbook (pun not intended!) makes me wish I were skinny so that I could pull off all those awesome outfits. I would love to buy clothes like that but the chances of me being able to pull it off? Real slim.

(Hey that sounds like a pun right there! Really, I didn't intend for it until I was re-reading my blog post to check for spelling errors.)

The boys on the webpage are terribly cute, handsome and whatnot! Even if they aren't, they dress really well. Gotta love a boy with an awesome fashion sense, and that website's filled with boys like that. Guys like that are hard to spot in Singapore :(

OH BUT I SAW ONE WITH ANIKA TODAY AFTER DANCE! We walked up and down Cineleisure to cool down. Well, he wasn't good-looking, but his dressing was awesome. Um, minus the floral-print cap, maybe.

Breakfast

"Would you fancy a traditional English breakfast of tea, french toast and scrambled eggs?"

Well okay that's the first thing that came to mind while resizing the photos. Was trying to imagine Charlie McDonnell saying it.

Yerrrrp. Ker introduced me to his videos and I've been watching them since.. ever.

He's like the quirkiest and cutest dork. I love him! He's kinda like my dream guy really. Typical Brit guy with an accent (I mean, who DOESN'T love a British accent? It makes me melt even if the guy has average looks), who's a bit of a dork with a good sense of humour. Yup.. my dream guy definitely. (Not like Elizabeth's dream guy which is technically a "pretty boy", which is also technically like a boy who is prettier than you, who is skinnier than you and who ALSO puts on makeup better than YOU okay moving on!)

So we had our traditional coffee shop breakfast -- Kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs and hot Milo. We both spent a total of $7.50 for breakfast actually. Know why? We both decided to try the dim sum, and ordered a plate of fan choy (rice + roasted pork slices) and 3 small ha-kao (steamed prawn dumplings) each. That cost me 5 bucks, but it was worth the money.

Since it was pouring cats and dogs (and it got heavier by the hour), I went down to her house since it was impossible for me to make it home dry. I'd have to take a bus from opposite the 'HDB block bus stop' -- Mayflowerians like to give our bus stop names. We have 'opp. Bishan Park bus stop', 'Bishan Park bus stop', 'HDB block bus stop' and 'KB Mac bus stop' -- and when I alight at the AMK Central bus stop, I'd be stuck there.

Good thing I didn't decide to try going home, too. The rain was heavy enough to cause a very bad flood in Orchard Road. (Yes, that's a link to a Youtube video)

Used her MBP (Macbook Pro), played Rabbids on her Wii, had lunch at the coffee shop near KB Mac with her parents and they gave me a lift home.

The moment I finished watching iCarly, I fell asleep. Awesome. I slept from prolly 4.45pm to 10.30pm. Ah, the usual piggery. *satisfied*

Anyways, I can't seem to stop eating. Okay I don't eat continuously, but for some reason since about a week back, I've been eating a lot. For someone who had a terrible appetite to eat only one meal a day without snacking in between, my appetite suddenly increased by a lot. I eat all three meals and sometimes snack lightly in between. I feel bloated everyday and I feel pudgy. I HATE feeling pudgy. My stomach's sticking out like a sore thumb and its horrible cuz my self-esteem dropped by a lot this week.

I pray pray pray!! that I'm bloating up because my period's coming. I gained 1kg my gawd. I'M SERIOUS, for someone my weight, 1kg is A LOT. And I'm not extremely tall either so it adds on to the damaged self-esteem really.

Shall update more next time with photos from the BFF's dinner and sleepover..

Yeah I know. It was cool for a while but it hurt my eyes while I tried to blog.

I miss doing GIFs like these! I remember how in Sec 3 I kept doing these and posting them up.

Alright, its currently 6:47am. Gotta wake up at 10 for tuition, collect my passport from the immigration authorities building at Lavender at 4 and go down to *Scape for dance by 8.30. Gonna be a hell tiring day, gotta catch 'em Zzz's so I'm outta here!

Beanie-

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY EILEEN LEE YING LING! ♥
(The Queen of all things Pink)

Otanjoubi omedetou! I know I've wished you via messaging and FB, but still. Ah crap, I can't find the photo I took of her pink room! Oh well its on Facebook.

Okay, that's all.

No, I'm serious! That's all.

Sorry, the laziness in me kicks in at times like these when I have too many photos to edit + Photobucket's being an asshole. Lets see when PB decides to stop treating me like crap and treating me wid lurrbes.

Ker's

Shall blog about yesterday first since I have so much time on my hands now. Will edit this post later to upload the photos!

Met the girls to celebrate Ker's birthday. Alex and I met earlier to get her birthday present, and I'm still thankful we snagged up the 2nd-last copy of FRIENDS. Ker kept calling cuz I was mad late. She called initially at 2.20pm asking me where I was and I said I just left home. Can you imagine? 1hr later I'm still not at Broadway Plaza??? It doesn't take me more than 15mins to get there!

Got sushi and biscuits from NTUC for Beanie. While paying we remembered there was still another price tag on the DVDs, so I took it out and stuck it on my jacket, telling Alex, ''My denim jacket's this price!!'' Rushed down to Broadway Plaza's KBox. They got room 8, my favourite number. Ker loved our present. :)

A few songs later she tugged at my jacket. She then pulled out a sticker stuck on the edge of my jacket...

..it was the pricetag.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Epic Gwen Moment. Sorry Ker! And Alex! I honestly forgot to take it out when we left NTUC!

After KBox we sat at the pushcarts area and slacked. Kept hinting Ker to go to the Foodcourt for dinner but she was insistent on going home. The initial plan was that I tell her I can't make it for dinner, then I'll run down to get a cake for Ker to surprise her. Nic couldn't make it for KBox so I told her we'll meet and get the cake.

Nic and I ended up panicking over text messaging cuz Ker didn't want dinner! It's kinda funny now that I think of it -- ''How?? How?!'' All of us frantically planning wondering what to do next while Ker calmly suggested we go home cuz she was tired.

In the end Alex and I ''escaped'' by ''going to the toilet''. (Well, okay the apostrophes aren't required cuz we really did go to the toilet.) Met Nic and bought this yummy chocolate fudge cake from Polar. Saw the cake I had for my own birthday celebration with the girls and guys and felt a bit chui (moodless).

STUPID NEBO PEOPLE I'LL REMEMBER YOU FOR LIFE FOR EATING MY CAKE!

We didn't have a lighter so we went outside. Nic was damn gung ho cuz she approached smokers and asked them to help her light up the candle in her hand. We brought cake with the lighted candles from outside all the way inside. Needless to say, by the time we got there the candles had already melted like mad.

Alex and Beanie bought back dinner to my house and we bitched/online-shopped/Pokka tea-ed and watched like half an episode of Scrubs. I love Zach Braff! Gerald Neo, its time for you to buy the Scrubs Season 2 DVDs! I've watched all my Season 1 episodes at least 7 times already!

So yeah, a pretty lengthy post. All in all, Ker I really hope you had a good time!

Penang

I suddenly feel like going to Penang to visit my grandma's friend and her grandchildren (my childhood friends) Tongtong, Xuanxuan and Yangyang. I'm suddenly missing a lot of people, wonder why. Recently I thought of the sailors, and now Zitong, Zixuan and Ziyang. I remember how Tongtong and I always wrote letters to each other in broken Chinese and English until we met again which would be a year later. I wonder how Xuanxuan's doing now- the last trip to Penang I hung out with him cuz Tongtong and Yangyang went to Singapore as I came to M'sia. He was such a nice person! Makes me wish I had an older brother like him.

Don't we all wish we could travel back in time to appreciate how carefree life used to be?

We were never meant to be, baby we just happened.

So you gotta take the good, the bad, happy and the sad.
But will you bring the better future then I had in the past?
Cause I don't want to make the same mistakes I did.
I don't wanna fall back on my face again.
Woah, woah.
I'll admit it, I was scared to answer loves call.
Woah, woah.
And if it hits, better make it worth the fall.

Hate to know I'm crashing, don't know how it happened.
But I know it feels so damn good.
Said if I could go back and make it happen faster,
Don't you know I would baby if I could?

Showed Alex this video last year. I love Cathy's voice here despite her lisp! (I wouldn't be able to tell she didn't write that in the information box) This video made me listen to the original song itself. Been listening to this song the whole day, and now its on replay on my iTunes. I love Ne-Yo's voice, kinda hate the fact that Kanye West is in this song cuz his rap lyrics in this song is bullshit, as it always is.

Anyway I feel compelled to do Math. Okay maybe that's cuz I AM supposed to do Math, but at 6AM in the morning? Ridiculous. I screwed my body clock again I think, and that sucks cuz it took like the whole of March to readjust it back to what it should be.

I myself am in a rut now. Oh well, who isn't at this point of time?

Like, seriously?

I wanted to blog initially because I just found out my hubby Samir Nasri isn't playing for France for World Cup 2010 and I'm not happy about it!

(Yes Leonard told me its old news but still.. The last time I checked everyone was saying he's in the line up for France so I took it for granted and thought that he'll be playing.)

Screw you, Raymond Domenech! I hate you! Because of you Nasri's doubting himself. I really hope this doesn't affect him when he plays for Arsenal for the next season. It'll be damn heartbreaking to see Arsenal get trashed again.

HAHA OMG READ THIS:
g says:
- i want to live, like a -something something something-
care-less and free
- i want to run through the jungle
the wind in my hair
and the efhjidfojifdjgoif through my feet

Ker says:
- ????????????

g says:
- the song i'm listening to now
hahahaha

Ker says:
HAHHAH
i'd liketo see how she/he pronounces hfpahfpiwnwfe

Ker, you do know how much I love you for random shit like this right. And yeah before I typed out The Animal Song (yes that is the name of the song, Quinnie would know), we were discussing World Cup '10.

From there we moved on to discussing watching a match or two overnight at McDonald's, and many other random things inbetween later, it became about her cooking 10 pots of red bean soup and finally to her being queen of the Red Bean Soup and bleeding red bean soup whenever she cuts herself. -_-

I SO cannot believe we just discussed all that.

The precious photos Cheryl got for me from the Emirates Stadium itself last year!
THESE FLEW TO SINGAPORE FROM EUROPE OKAY.

I still remember how she brought these along the day the O level results were released.
Then how as I sat there on the floor crying over my results, she whipped these two out and was like, "NAH! SURPRISE!"

Btw I spent a long time trying to draw the perfect heartshape over my darling's face on the webcam thing. HAHA.

Hm, to get my card-reader fixed, or not?

Easy-Peasy

Yay! Checked Youtube and found out that Kenny Wormald just uploaded a new video -- A compilation of all his dance stuff from MTV's Dancelife (I doubt they had it on MTVAsia) and Center Stage: Turn It Up (a movie I highly doubt was shown in Singapore).

I'm a huge fan of his and he used to be on my cell's wallpaper. I also have most of his Youtube dance videos on my iPod. If you didn't know, now you do!

Tried playing around with my hair's parting earlier today and realised it was annoying to have a thick bunch-o-hairz in your face. Just a few minutes ago I got rid of it ;)

I always trim my fringe on my own whenever I cannot stand it, but the past few times I actually got around to doing it, I ended up annoying myself even more. Even though I sit infront of my dustbin, hair still ends up on the floor. And by that I mean MANY strands of hair. Imagine clearing the shorter strands.. Ugh.

Might be going out of the country this June! I'm always a bit terrified of travelling because me being the worry-wart me, I would always think about the extreme ends of things. What happens if something happens to me? What if I die overseas? What if what if whdfughekjfgne!!!!!ERDK?!?!?!

I think watching the History Channel and Discovery Channel via cable TV with my dad and brother in the past really scared me shitless. Especially Air Crash Investigation etc.?

Anywho, my laogim and laogu are at my place playing mahjong with my parents now, and my room's terribly messy. Not like there's any link in THAT, Mom just hates it when people are over and my room's messy. I don't get it though, because when people are over my door's usually closed.

Oh well, at least it isn't as messy as my room during O's!

But it will soon be.

Can't wait for June 11th! 'Till then, its time to play some L4D2 via Garena. I wanna play it via Steam, dammit.

Math-a-rat-tat

Played around with the image yesterday and made that. I love playing with the words but I hate playing around with Gaussian Blur cuz I'm always so indecisive to the point that a radius of 4.0 and 5.0 pixels makes a huge difference to me.

Well I decided to come update my blog since my Math tutor's gonna be late by an hour and a half.

Gonna be meeting APhuaz to study later, and hopefully Alex's joining us. Was supposed to meet him by 4.15pm but cuz of my tutor I'll be going over later. Sigh. I really dread tuition now, but oh well, figures that I need more if not I'll never pass this year's O's and it'll be another month of desperation and depression for me after receiving a cert that tells me I can only go to ITE.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against going to ITE.

Contemplating asking my mom to get Vincent to tutor me again. I was more comfortable with Vincent's style of teaching and it was more relaxing? He was the one who got me to love Math just before O's, sadly just a tad bit too late. My new tutor's (named King Man. Yes he's from Hongkong so it's a canto name) alright partially because he's younger and more understanding, but somehow I'm not getting what I need to know. And I feel a bit intimidated during his lessons to the point that I feel pressurized. HE WATCHES ME WHILE I DO THE PRACTICE QUESTIONS and goes, "Mhmm.. Mm.. Uh...?" So it may be a good idea to get two tutors I guess?

I'll go hit the bottles of Mogu-Mogu in my fridge now. Toodles!

Trying to find that one thing..

Credits to someone on Photobucket??
Yes, I didn't take this.

So I'm bored. My eyelids are heavy and slowly closing down on me but I refuse to sleep because I just ate salmon sushi and I feel too fat/full to sleep.

I gained weight! Not awesome. Must cut down on the sweets and eating-because-I-got-nothing-to-do. All my effort to lose weight going down the drain, bit by bit.

Wondering if I should go back for service at HOGC this weekend. I feel ashamed that I backslided but Ingrid's telling me everyone would be excited to see me again rather than wondering why I'm back (in a negative way). Well of course they'll be nice! We're talking about people like Tock, Janice, and my long-time friends Ethel and ah-Foo the 半鸡半鸭。She will kill me if she sees that but as ex-classmates in Aitong School we must give each other nicknames, since I was her Gwendolflyn. Rudolf the red nosed reindeer? Gwendolf? See the link?

I know I most prolly posted this up on my blog before in 2008 but here it is again! I watched this at least 3-4 times just now.

I've been listening to Korean songs since 2003 (for BoA) and I used to like all the old Kpop bands. Blackbeat was one of them! But of course SM stopped promoting them that's why you never hear anymore news of them. They were my favourite cuz they dance really well. They taught DBSK's Yunho and Jaewon's now the choreographer for the new SM Entertainment boy/girl groups.

MY FUTURE HUSBAND WILL DANCE LIKE JAEWON! HAHAH.

Kidding, kidding. My expectations aren't THAT high.

Iamsocoollike Charlieissocoollike

Sorry about the lack of photos! The card reader in my laptop's problematic now and I'm hell lazy to connect my SD Card via my external card reader :( And also cuz I got too many photos to edit I guess.

I'm listening to old songs now. Old, good songs that never die. Fred recently sent to me loads of songs including Highway to Hell (by AC/DC), Sweet Child o' Mine (Guns N' Roses), Addicted to That Rush (Mr. Big) and moreeee. And I downloaded Overture 1928 by Dream Theater, one of the first old rockish bands that I really like.

YES GO LISTEN TO OVERTURE 1928 NAOOOOO!!!
And Strange Deja Vu. Yes, yes! Strang Deja Vu by Dream Theater.

Oh by the way, I'm obsessed over this dude on Youtube now:

Charlieissocoollike

Must thank Ker for introducing me to Charlieissocoollike! He's the cutest thing on the web I swear. (That video above was in 2007 though)

Okay yeah just wanted to do a short update since I've not been updating regularly the past few days. Let anyone who's reading this out there know that I'm still alive.

I've got to go get my stuff for work now, so toodles!
