Went for the SL thing today and it was aweeeesome!
Being and emcee and all, I totally loved it.

Except when I screwed up.

Met these group of Jap girls backstage before they did their performance. Guess how we clicked? Atiqa and the Malay dancers were talking to them, then I went to say hi. After asking about our ages..

Watched Madagascar 2 today with David and Iggy earlier.

Sad to say, didn't meet my expectations! :(:(:(

Madagascar 1 was waaay funnier, and it had more Laugh Out Loud moments!

This one was.. pretty draggy and boring? Tho me and David did burst out laughing and "What the hell??!"-ing during the movie. x)

Went to collect the dresses from Ker after that.
We literally froze on the bus I tell you!!!

My hair only starts to curl like that when it hits a certain length.

Woke up today feverish. Was damn cold yet damn warm.

I am finally back from batam, approx. 12AM sharp.
We took the last ferry.

It was awesome! Thanks to the superrr amazing host, David! :):):)

The days flew by so quickly, I just wished it wouldn't end. :(

Its really an amazing getaway.

No traffic lights for miles and miles,
Not much cars but instead, motorcycles,
We had a whole house to ourselves,
No OMG-dingly tall buildings in sight,
How late we slept each night, no alarm clocks..

Woah.

We're already planning when to go back during December!

Edmund and I bought like, two-way-tickets from both S'pore and Batam!
So we definitly wanna go back, if not we'd be wasting our tickets! :)

I sprained my neck and my arm muscles are hurting like crap tho. :(

Lets see,

DAY 1

First night was spent playing DOTA and CS.

We stayed at the guest house, pigged out at night with pizza, which David's parents bought us. (THANK YOU! :D)

Slept at around 3AM Batam time (4AM S'pore time) downstairs after chatting with David, Ning, Teng and Edmund. :) David threw pillows at me! >:\

We all slept in the living room! Except Ryan, Iggy and Louis.
Of course, I fell asleep earliest.


DAY 2
Woke up the earliest.

Went over to David's main house so that Ning could practice her piano.

David showed me his drumset, and it was like chio!
He told me to try some beats but I totally didn't wanna. :(
Too paiseh!

Had lunch and went to the Batam cable ski but sadly it was full.
Went to do this combat-styled shooting game instead? at some ulu resort called Harris Resort.

Wasted, 25bucks per person! And David's dad paid for us!
Omg, thank you uncle!

Was so sleepy I kept falling asleep in the car ride back.
Knocked my head while sleeping once.

I went back with Ning to the house to change into swim suits while the guys immediately went into the pool. Had loads of satay for dinner!

I ate like 7 sticks while David? He ate more than 30.

Went to Nagoya Plaza (?) to play at the arcade.
The locals kept staring at us.. damn uncomfortable.
David said it was obvious that we aren't locals. :\

Went back to the house after playing DOTA and CS again.

Oh, the rest played teiti and bridge and watched Fear Factor (yes, they have Channel 5 in Batam!) till about 4AM. Me, David and Edmund already fell asleep.


DAY 3
Woke up earliest on the third day again.

Iggy woke up too and came downstairs. After we sat around for a while, he threw a pillow at Ning and David to wake them up. :P

Went over for brunch. Crab, FRIED FROG LEGS (the guys who came one day before tried them so they liked it), some egg in tomato sauce.. Damn nice.

Quickly went down to the ski place.

Empty like hell sia! So we paid our 20bucks (per hour! CHEAP!).

Cable skiing and motorboat wakeboarding are totally different.
Its like, the cable ski is so hard, none of us made a full turn!

Only Ryan managed to go like, half a turn. :(

Bathing was like, super LOL!

The cubicles were all joined together, so we kept splashing water from the top. :P
Louis was like huh-ed cuz he came in later and me and David were splashing water at each other. HAHA.

Went back to the mall to have lunch at A&W, and play Drummania.
Okay its NOT drummania cuz its Percussion Freaks, the OLD version.

Stupid, this time, my blister hurt like a bitch! :(
And it burst for the 2nd time. :\

Played DOTA and CS at another LAN shop since the usual was full.

Had steak for dinner! :) thank you uncle and aunty for bringing us there. :)

Ning and Teng had to rush back. :(

Dunno why but David emo-ed during dinner. :(:(:(

Went back to the house. I fell alseep on the car ride back!
Knocked my head AGAIN for the second time.

Ryan, Iggy and Louis went upstairs to sleep first. Edmund fell asleep and there was only me left awake since David was at the main house.

He finally came in at like, quite late.
But ya, it was nicer to have someone else around.

We both sat at the pull-out bed and chatted.
Then watched him play Grand Theft Auto, super funny la the way the guys played it.
He fell alseep first and I stayed awake to watch Survivor since he said its a nice show?

I was right, total backstabbing show! >:(
Super wtf sia the people.

Then I fell asleep too.


DAY 4
Woke up first again! LOL.

For once I managed to go back to sleep since David and Edmund were still sleeping.

Kept waking up whenever I felt the bed move.
But ya idk why I was just sleepy so I went back to sleep again.

Finally woke up when Louis came downstairs.

Didn't have much for breakfast.

David's parents then brought us for lunch at this seafood place in a kampong-like setting, and it was super far away from the house! Stopped by this nice Batam bridge and took in the scenery amidst the rain. :) lovely.

They ordered a lot of food for us! 2 plates of each item.
It was so fresh cuz its like, they just caught the things infront of us?

The guys kept feeding these huge 20-over-kg fishes with stuffs, and they kept splashing so much water that it got us wet!

We estimated David's dad spent 200bucks on the meal. :o

Went to Nagoya Plaza to have dinner at A&W.

How I miss their root beer floats! :)

Had one of their damn good waffles and a root beer float for dinner.
We were all so full! Went to play DOTA and CS again.

We initially wanted to stay for another day, but the phone calls to Louis and Ryan's parents from Mdm Loh got them into trouble with their moms.

Bought another 2-way ticket, since it was 1buck more than a 1-way ticket? :\

Expiry date is 31st December 2008, we're gna be back :)

Didn't get to see David's parents and say our thanks and goodbyes. :(:(

Their DJ-classed headphone was like, 57bucks! OMGGGG.
But mom said if I bought it too, dad'll scold me..
