It was not picture perfect at the end of the day...

Wahaha! Today was what I can say was a fun day for me x)

D&T totally rocks lah!

Before D&T started, Mr Raihan was discussing with us about the world cup finals:
Why Zidane headbutted that Italian player?

OF COURSE THAT ITALIAN PLAYER WAS IN THE WRONG. Zidane is of course, INNOCENT! We talked about World Cup, then argued about which country is better and why, and about Zidane's headbutt and who was in the wrong, etc. It was generally fun discussing about WC during lesson time. HAHA.

Today was me and Aaron's first day at like, cutting and sawing, etc the acrylic. It was like, our first day at doing practical! So excited. At first, Janisha and Beverly told me to use the saw to saw the acrylic first, instead of using the machine.

I see them saw until wanna die. Haha. And the sound coming from the saw was HORRIBLE. It sounded like your sharp nails going down across those kind of blackboards used in the olden days - those kind where you use chalk instead of markers. I used the saw for a while, then I noticed I saw until damn ugly. No choice. Then it was damn hard to saw lah! So i decided to stand by the machines and watch everyone do their work. I watched Ci Ping, Wigene, Hui Min, Darren etc use the machines.

It looked damn scary... I was sorta scared to go near the machine. It was MOVING. gosh, literaly MOVINGGGGG! I was like, omg is it gonna tear my acrylic into HALF? who knows, it might SWALLOW my acrylic. MAYBE, maybe. You. Would. Never. Know.

Anyway, in the end Mr Raihan demo-ed for me and Aaron, and practically helped me finish cutting my acrylic x)

So Aaron and I tried, I had a bit of problem with the machine at first, then Aaron got the hang of it and came over to help me as I kept screaming, worried that my 'heart' would shatter. Well, I drew a heartshape on my acrylic. At first I spent like, 40mins drawing a sorta cross, like, with triangular ends. Then I was always not satisfied, and then I decided to stick to something simple. So, a heartshape was the best x) But since I also spent so much time perfecting the heartshape, my REAL heart would shatter if I cut it wrongly. haha.

Finally, I finished cutting it, and started filing it etc to make it look better. EYUCK the sound when you start filing your acrylic totally sucks lah! Very 'screechy'. Hmm.

After D&T was Math. MS LIM DIDN'T COME TO SCHOOL! haha! So then we went up with Ms Oh to the library for the two groups to present our Math projects - my group and Alexandra's group. haha.

But in the end, NO ONE presented. My diskette with my powerpoint presentation gave me problems, AGAIN. Alexandra's group also hasn't finished their stuff yet, so her group's presenting on Tuesday.

Then, Ms Oh tried transfering the files from my diskette into her thumbdrive, because her laptop doesn't have a drive for DISKETTES. See? Even Ms Oh thinks diskettes are not the 'in' thing now. =/

And the ppt couldn't be transfered, thanks to the idiot diskette, causing so many problems for me during IPW and now, MATH!

Then we are also presenting on Tuesday. Haha, we went up to the hall to do our presentation, and ended up none of the groups supposed to present today presented their projects. Haha.

After school, Kerrie and I went to the breifing for the Class Commitee and for the NE Ambassadors [however you spell it]. We were asked to learn ZERO POINT at first, but ended up there was a mistake, and we ended up practising CHACTEK! [or how you spell it?]

So pek chek, we practiced like siao. And we were chased out of our practising locations 3 times!!! THREE TIMES. First time we went outside to practice, then OM Han came over and complained we make too much noise etc, when we were actually asked to practice there!

So we went outside the computer labs, and there was a class there. As the corridor we were practising in was small, noise, of course, was enhanced. And the teacher conducting lessons in there chased us to somewhere else to practise. As we left, we complained and grumbled that it was the second time we were chased away, and the teacher said "Don't worry, there wouldn't be another time."

Then we went to the corridor on the second floor I think. Then the cleaning auntie saw us and was scared we kick until accidentally kick the wall, and that we would be careless enough to leave our shoeprints on the beige-y walls. So she also chased us somewhere else to play. SEESH!

So we moved about to 3 different locations just to practice some game for RACIAL HARMONY week, where we shall be tending to the stall and people would come down in classes and come to our stations during SEE lessons on Wednesday for lower sec and I think Monday for upper sec.

After that, Kerrie and I waited at the bus stop for Alicia and Eileen, which apparantly while waiting for us, Alicia went with Eileen to cut hair. I mean, Alicia cut her hair, not Eileen. Haha. Then we boarded the 265 that they boarded so that we could go to Kerrie's place to choreograph the dance moves for the dance exam thingy, which replaced the recorder playing during the second semester.

We chose the song "Leave (get out)" by JoJo at first. I just totally love the song.

So at first when we got to Kerrie's place, she had problems burning the songs into the disc and everything. Then after that, she had problem playing the songs. Then a long long long time later, when we got everything done, we sat on the floor of kerrie's hall and thought of what moves to make.

Then after that we couldn't come up with any dance moves, even though i suggested some, they totally dissed it off.

So, they chose the song I WRITE SINS NOT TRAGEDIES instead!!! I totally didn't wanna dance to that song. So artsy!!! I hate dancing in an artsy way.. I liked hip hop. Haha. I wish i can go for lessons again =/

But then, all three of them [Kerrie, Alicia and Eileen] wanted that song instead of Leave (get out). Like, WTH?! We already decided on Leave (get out), and at home during my free time I would try to make some moves myself. And its like, I spent most of my time trying to come up with moves for THAT song. And when we got to Kerrie's place, they totally dissed my ideas, and didn't consider some ideas I suggested for the start of the song. I was damn angry, but I just didn't say anything to them, since they wanted I Write Sins Not Tragedies by PANIC! At The Disco so much. I was feeling damn pissed, but didn't show it of course.

Then they started making up the moves. I totally didn't wanna be part of it. For once, I actually felt like quitting that group for the dance, since I had like, no decision there. Everything was about them. The whole thing was about them. I wanted to quit and go to Jia Qi's group, since they already wanted to ask me at first. And they are dancing to Hilary Duff's "Fly". Hmm, my favourite song!!! =D

But since I was doing it with Kerrie they all, they couldn't ask me to join.

I was expecting to do some of the moves i tried at home. But at Kerrie's place, all my ideas were turned down, and believed that they were counted 'silly' or 'totally not suitable for the song', which apparantly at that time was Leave (get out). If i had known they would wanna change the song to something so artsy-fartsy and so... whatever, I would have joined Jia Qi's group, which I totally believe my ideas would be respected there.

I remember me suggesting one part for the song Leave (get out), which was when JoJo sang "And I wonder (why) how I bought all the lies". I suggested like, putting up our hands in a like, 'wondering' position. Like, when you say "Why?" your palms would be facing the sky right? haha. like that. Then they said "No lah, liddat the song why suddenly got one indian dance move come out liddat! No lar, looks silly lorh. Don't do that lah."

and then Kerrie just had imitate the move that I showed her, but made it to look like it was an indian dance move, where your hands would be like, moving one up one down instead. She made it look funny, and Alicia and Eileen laughed. I felt insulted - I felt like getting out of there, like what the song described. I wanted to leave that group for the dance and join Jia Qi, where my suggestions would be heard and considered and respected. And at least might be used.

In the end, I just went ahead to their decision by shrugging. What? You expected me to go "WAH LAO EI! Can you like, freaking stop insulting what I suggest?! At least consider it right?!?! What for you just make it look so damn freaking funny, when I was serious! Why don't you all stop making fun of what I suggest, and be serious! WHY! Can you also like, stop turning down my suggestions? At least you can like, TRY IT OUT BEFORE YOU LAUGH AT IT AND HURT MY FEELINGS!"

I totally felt like screaming that, but I dunno why I just shrugged and let it pass instead.

When they chose I Write Sins Not Tragedies, I wanted to scream "Hey! You all agreed to Leave (get out)! Why are you changing it?! STICK TO WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY DECIDED ON AND STOP CHANGING EVERYTHING!" but I didn't say anything, and they took it as a yes that I was okay with it. Freak lah, FREAK.

When they started choreographing the moves, I found some of the moves weird looking, but they all liked it. Well, I didn't. But of course, nothing was said. They seemed so happy choreographing the moves that I didn't want to turn down what they were suggesting, and it was a 3 VS. 1 basis. I wouldn't win, they would argue until I went with it, if not they would show black faces and throw a tantrum and sorta stop talking to me, until i cooperated.

I guess only Kerrie noticed I wasn't really happy, but when she asked I said nothing was wrong.

The moves were weird, yes. They were arty, yes. They weren't hip hop, yes they weren't. They were moves I would consider a bit silly in my dictionary, yes. The song was totally what I didn't wanna dance to, yes. The song was not hip hop, but was more of a kinda song where the moves you would think of when dancing to that song is ARTY, yes. The song wasn't hip hop kind, yes. The song was the last on my list to be danced to, yes.

Argh. Why can't I feel respected when I hang out with AGEEK? At least sometimes with Jia Qi they all, I feel very respected, and so are my decisions. Thats why I respect them too, for respecting me and my decisions and suggestions, etc.

So.. I just went ahead with the dance moves they made up. I guess I only contributed to 0.1% of the dance. All my other moves were turned down or like, considered and not included. Felt so hurt when I practiced. I felt like getting lost, as I felt that I wasn't a part of this dance at all - only a co-dancer, those that would dance at the sidelines while the main/lead dancers steal the show, and you don't get a share of being noticed.

Yep, it sorta felt like that.

Say aloha to our board games people!

Currently rushing through a Math project powerpoint presentation. Must be handed in tomorrow. AHHH I am gonna die if i cannot complete it!!!

Anyway.
Today's Math lesson is what I can call the best. Why? We were brought up to the library after recess, the moment Ms Oh and Ms Lim came in. Then the groups that were supposed to present their presentation today for their Math projects [the board games etc] presented and introduced what they did.

Mainly, everyone did board games. Haha.

Most innovative and creative one so far: Pearlyn's group. Shall take a picture of it or something tomorrow if I can, and post it here. Its really nicely done, and its something like the game of life. =)

The moment we saw Pearlyn's group present their board game, with a custom-made box and all, we looked at our own board and felt very...

Pek Chek [or however you spell it].

Compared to theirs, ours is like, small and tiny. As in, for our board game, we seem to have spent much lesser time on our board, and for their board, they seemed to have spent like, weeks of hard effort on it. But okay honestly, we didn't spend much time on ours. Hahah.

My group's presenting tomorrow, and Math is the last period tomorrow! Haha, we would most probably spend our whole time in the library presenting and then when the last bell rings we shall just leave the library. Haha. Its like, damn shuang. The library is nice! LOL.

Again, no one paid attention in Ms Oh's English lesson.

This morning at the start of the day before my Chinese teacher came in to conduct her lessons, I took out my camera and starting photos of everyone. Hehe.

The class, though, was reluctant to take a class photo. I guess many were camera-shy. =/

anyway.
I guess i shall carry on with my ppt. Nono, i shall take a break now and go eat dinner while i play maple.

And I think my dad is going to get us a new computer, seeing how our current computer has been giving us multiple problems time and time again. =/

But if we get the computer, i shall wait a long long time before i get my laptop =/
sigh. all for the convienience of everyone. including me. ahah.

Don't help us - don't get respect.

Recently the lessons in class are BORING lah. Its like, we had this new trainee teacher Ms Oh to come teach our class English and Math, replacing Mrs Thomas and Ms Lim during her 'trainee period'.

Not to be mean or anything, but I think the whole class doesn't respect her. I guess one reason is because her teaching methods are quite boring, and it seriously bores us out. How do I know that everyone doesn't respect her? - well, no one does her homework, period.

Kerrie told me even Jia Qi and Seraphina don't do her homework. She is not getting any respect from anyone in our class. Even when we great her good morning or in any sense good afternoon, the class suddenly lost the enthusiasim for greating teachers. We have become like, very enthu-less. As in, seriously, no one in my class respects her. I guess she should brush up on her teaching methods?

Now I am currently spending 2 weeks away from sailing. Yay! No sailing for 2 weeks. The 2 weeks is our break, thanks to the competitions we went to. We missed many lessons.. so yeah, we have to buck up.

Today during Math, while Ms Oh was scribbling some weirdo formula for dunno what number sequence or something i don't know, Ms Lim told us our results for class test. I was praying and hoping, and kept saying in my mind "Pass. Pass. Pass. Pass. Pass. Come on lah, pass already!" etc. Since Ms Lim didn't read out my register number, and Elizabeth had something to ask, she came over to our table and after answering Elizabeth's question, Ms Lim showed me my results.

a WHOOPING 0/20.

I was sitting there stoning while Ms Lim pat my back and said "You have to buck up okay Gwen?" and walked off to see what Pamela needed. I told Elizabeth how much I got and Elizabeth went "Huh? Omg, really?!" that kinda thing. Then Darren overheard, and he asked "Gwen, you okay?"

Seriously, no crying or crap, but I was really upset. I mean, at least lemme get one freaking mark already! But instead i didn't even have 1 mark. Seesh, whatta looser.

I have decided to push myself this time and study, study, study! Anyone wanna join me as I like, chiong homework, pop questionmarks ontop of my head while looking at the Math textbook, etc? Haha. I guess I can't study alone... it'd not be any help if you don't have anyone to help you with your work. when you need help. haha.

Joseph, Nicholas and I gave the Student Councilors' speech thingy today. Yep, all 3 of us together, reading out the lines types out on the script. We were the only people who did 3-at-a-time that kinda thing. Everyone else did their speeches individually. Haha. The sailors are so special. S cube [3]! Sailors So Special. SSS, S cube [3]! =D ahaha lame crap lah.

Anyway, Jing Yi, Janisha and Jody [J cube (3)! LOL] cheered for me. As in, they shouted "WHOO!!!" that kinda thing for me. Aww, so touched. Even though I didn't hear it, but thanks for cheering for me. Hehe. So nice of you 3. Though no one else cheered along with you, cos i understand, it'd be too paisei. haha.

But too bad, I didn't hear it. But after they told me that they cheered for me, I totally hugged them back. Hahas.

Hmm... shall go sleep now. Its already 12:02AM! Diediedie. Was chionging homework and ended up coming to post on my blog. Haha. And YES! I managed to chiong 3 levels in Maple! From level 10 I trained till I was level 13 just now. YAY! =D

Okay, night! =]

Oh wow, Mrs Sidhu just told me that she put up the photo she took of me and Ning Xin at the National Sailing Center on the Smile 2006 website for Singapore.

Luckily the photograph's icon is small. haha.
http://www.smiles2006.com/module/mural&int_cur_position=12296&h=16719

Anyway. Today I had Kerrie and Alicia over to complete our Math project work and to form the dance steps for the Hip Hop thingy exam in school. Haha. Initially we were supposed to be doing project work, but we ended up having Alicia and Kerrie taking turns to hog the computer's internet, and after that when we saw my brother watching Spongebob Squarepants we decided to join him, then after that show Kerrie was browsing through the channels on SCV, when she came across "Panic Room", and so we watched that too.

At about 5 then the show ended. LOL.

shall post some pictures that I took today when they came over. haha.

Whee for World Cup; GERMANY!

Yesterday I was supposed to stay up with my dad to watch World Cup, where GERMANY and PORTUGAL [whoops, i dunno how to spell that. lol] fights for 3rd and 4th place, but when I reached home from Celine's place at about 2:50AM, I was like, super sleepy lah.

So my dad was like, "Are you sure you can handle it annot.. you look so sleepy already." so i told him I could stay up, cos I wanna watch Germany WIN! Okay, so apparently I couldn't tahan late nights, or should I say early mornings. So like, 20mins into the game, I started falling asleep. I drank coffee, also cannot stay awake. That proves it - Coffee doesn't keep you awake!!!

So my dad told me to go sleep, since my eyes are like, closing already. So I did, and of course i was a bit disapointed that i couldn't stay awake to watch the match 'Live'! Its a match with Germany in it somemore!

This morning when I woke up the first thing I said was "So how? Whats the results? Did Germany win?!?!" and my dad said something like "Poor Germany-" and i cut in "-WHAT?!?! GERMANY LOST?!?! OMGOMGOMG NOOOO.....!!!!" and he said "-they played so well and got third." and I was like, "They WON??? THEY WON?!?! THEY WOOOOONNNNNNNNNN?!?! YES!!! YES YES YES WHOOOO GERMANY!!!" and started bouncing on my bed. lol. I can't believe i fell for my dad's tricks. haha.

They won 3-1! Germany is; oooh so AWESOME! Don't you just LOVE GERMANY?! At least they got 3rd in the WORLD CUP! So happy, I believe I can jump for joy for the whole day!

Tomorrow I'm going back to school, to STUDY. Ahh, the fresh smell of the textbooks, the stuffiness of the classroom! WELCOME BACK TO 1Endeavour, Gwen! =D I'm so happy to finally be able to catch up on schoolwork again. Haha.

But bad news, I heard from Kerrie. Science test coming up. Argh, I hate Science more than I hate err.. more than i hate..... err.. aiya more than i hate anything i hate. =]

I heard we have a lot of homework too. Ergh! *bangs head on wall*

But finally, what the whole sailing team has been waiting for -
Our deserved break of 2 weeks! =D relive the glory man, relive the glory!

No sailing and no sailing Physical Training for 2 weeks! Everyone must be happy. But I'm sorta worried, cos of the Pesta Sukan regatta coming up next. After the 2 weeks break, we only have about 2 weeks to train before Pesta Sukan. Oh well, guess i had better buck up and train hard for Pesta Sukan and like, at least allow our school to be able to win another throphy =D

Anyway. My computer has been giving me more problems. Argh. I think i shall blow up soon. Grr, damn this computer. NEVER buy manually assembled computers like mine, NEVER! They suck lah can! Sigh, why couldn't my dad just buy like, one proper computer assembled in factories?!

Shall go finish up my literature homework now... cos tomorrow i think i have to hand it in or something.

And oh ya, I finally put my deviantART account into good use! I uploaded 3 Deviations at about 7 plus just now. You might just wanna go check it out later. =D I love photography!

http://gwend-n.deviantart.com/ my deviantART account, do go visit it and tell me what you think of my 3 deviations. But if you are not interested in photography, this might totally not interest you, thanks to all my deviations being photos. You also mustmustmust go see Ferus's works. Her works are LOVELY okay! She's my idol in DA. Haha.

Tata. =D

Whoops, just too random

Yep, random post, random post. Nothing to do now, grr. So i shall post.

Since i was still full from yesterday's buffet at Seoul Garden with the MF sailors, I sorta skipped lunch today. shhh, I'll get killed by my parents if they ever found out i skipped a meal x)

Yan Wen just called, asked if my friend asked me along to the church, and asked me to walk with her at AMK Central. oh well, I need to go Popular anyway.. to buy black markers for the Math project game board that we're making. Maybe I should buy some card too to make a box for it. Haha.

Can't wait for the sailing photos that Mrs Sidhu took during Interschools to be out. Rahah! All the whacky photos we took after the prize presentation =D

Oh well, post tonight again if i have nothing to do. Tata =)

We pigged! =D

Opps, mistake. The B girls got 4th, thanks to Raffles Girls Secondary!

This was the original positions, starting from second position:
2nd; TKG [Tanjong Katong Girls]
3rd; MF [Mayflower, duh]
4th; RGS [Raffles Girls]

And then, RGS just had to ask for redress. And of course it was successful.
2nd; RGS
3rd; TKG
4th; MF

So they pushed our results down, argh. But the B girls still got a throphy! Though its 4th position, at least we still got something to be proud of.

As we sat there at the hall of NSC watching as a speech was made, throphies for individuals given out, throphies for the Optimist winnners, Laser winners, 420 winners, and lastly, Byte.

I think out of all the schools sitting their waiting for their schoolmates or schools to be given the throphies, i think MF was the only school who sat there waiting for only one throphy. Each and every other school who were there at least got about, 3 or 4 or more throphies!

VJC [Victoria Junior College] even got 19 throphies! Well, I noticed that for the 420 prize presentation part, their school practically clinched all the throphies. I think only one pair not from VJC managed to get the throphy for 420 class. LOL. Every other throphy for 420 class was given to VJC's 420 sailors.

So was the Laser class. VJC got many throphies for 420 and for Laser. Envious! Hope that our school would be able to do as well as them one day =D

For each sailor given out the individual prizes, the 3rd gets a cap, and the 2nd gets a UV SUIT! and you know what the champion gets?

A LIFE JACKET [or you can say buoyancy vest]!!!

And its the one i want to get! It costs 90 bucks. NINETY BUCKS!!! I saw it at the shop at NSC. Its the life jacket Zach and Tzu Ling has. I want to get one too, cos using the MOESSC life jackets are so... troublesome sometimes. You have to wash the life jackets and go all the way to the racks either at the school boats area or if not the optimist parking racks there to put it back.

I'd rather have my own life jacket, then I only need to wash it, no need to go all the way from one end of NSC to another just to put back some life jackets. LOL

We juniors [again] spent the whole day lazing around, with nothing to do. Mrs Sidhu went out to sea to help out on the byte course, and since the graduated seniors Farhana, Mui Fang and Keith came back hoping that we would win a prize, we were under their charge.

Most of the sec ones spent the day soaking in the sea water in the MOESSC life jackets and in our bootes. Haha, we played monkey with Mubarak's soccerball and played frisbee with some random bucket cover or something we found floating in the sea.

Before that, we were burying up people like Darren, then I heard the other group was burying Joseph alive, then Mubarak. Poor Mubarak, when he got buried, the guys carved for him disgusting stuff on the sand for him. Well, the guys and girls stuff. You get the idea, lets just say that they were horny.

Before that when I heard about Joseph being buried, I walked to the other end to see, but when I went there, I saw Quin and Darren and Wen Feng walking out, so i walked back to Mubarak there with them. Then when walking halfway there, I accidentally stepped hard on a thorn and I screamed. I wasn't wearing slippers cos the waves kept trying to wash out my slippers when I wore them, so it was hard to walk. It was very pain, so i limped back to where Justin and Wei Ming were burying Mubarak.

Then I sat down and wondered why it was still so pain, and I realised that the thorn went deep into my foot. And it hurts a lot when I walked. So i sat there for a long time trying to squeeze it out, then Peck Khee found out what happened and she kept telling me to tell Farhana, but I didn't want to and in the end when I couldn't squeeze it out, she rushed over to inform Farhana. Then Farhana and Mui Fang came over to see what happened, and Mui Fang suggested taking a pin to poke it out, while Darren told me to use a nail clipper to clip off some skin and try to squeeze it out again. LOL

So i sat there squeezing it out while everyone played in the water. The thorn was deep in my foot, so it took me a while and my foot bled a bit while attempting to get it out. Ouch. Then when a bit of it came out, Darren helped me to dig it out with his fingers while I kept screaming "No need!!! No need!!!" lol. In the end he did, and when he got it out he screamed "YAY ITS OUT!!!!" lol. But he threw it off lah, so I didn't see it. My foot started bleeding a bit where the thorn was, ouch again. He told me the thorn was quite long, and luckily i got it out. LOL. So I thanked him and went tell Farhana they all that i got it out and they told me to go wash the wound cos there was a lot of sand there. LOL.

Yesterday after the prize presentation, the MF sailors went to AMK Central's SEOUL GARDEN to pig out!

Everyone was rushing to flag up for the taxi outside of school. Then the seniors managed to get it first, then me, Ning Xin, Peck Khee, Yi Xuan and Quin managed to 'steal' the other taxi that came from Jack and David they all. LOL.

Then when we got there, Kai Xin and Samantha were walking outside, so we stopped outside Seoul Garden [and caused a conjestion for a while] and caught up with them. Then we saw one of the graduated seniors, Joanne. And we went in.

Slowly, everyone started coming in group by group. I think Wei Ming and Darren and dunno who were the only ones who went to take bus. Everyone else took a taxi. LOL.

When everyone got there, we waited for Mrs Sidhu for a long time before she came in with her husband, then we all started to rush for the drinks, then everyone started grabbing food, etc. Everyone ate so much, and drank so much. Even me. I ate till I felt like puking, cos we took too much meat and we had to finish it. Haha.

We tried shoving some to the boys table, but it was unsuccessful. Then Justin tried shoving some prawn onto our table, and we shoved it back to him. HAHA.

I think in the whole meal, the only person who didn't gain much weight was Chee Teng, cos he's vegetarian. So he could only eat all the veggie stuff and drink drinks while everyone ate so much. Haha. Ning Xin said it was bad to be vegetarian. haha.

I didn't even eat any vege! The table I was at [Ning Xin, Yi Xuan, Peck Khee and I] didn't want to eat any vege, so we only ate MEAT for the whole meal lor!! Feel so fat xD

We pigged out at Seoul Garden till about 10+ [in the night, duh]. Before we left. Everyone sat there and the graduated senior Keith went around showing us his handphone, which he typed in on the messaging area : "At the end of the meal make sure you thank cher"

So when Mrs Sidhu was about to say "lets go" or whatever, the seniors stood up and went "one, two, three" and we said "Thank you Mrs Sidhu." very unenthusiastically. But after we said that, everyone started clapping and whooting VERY enthusiastically. LOL. Everyone at Seoul Garden was staring at us.

After that, since AMK Central was so near my place, I walked home with my dad, who met me at the outside of Four Seasons, cos it was late.

And the moment i went back, I fell asleep after washing up. Was too tired.. lol.

The results...

ARGH. Ms Cheng just showed me this link :
http://web.vjc.moe.edu.sg/dept/pe/sailingconvenor.htm

so from there i went to this :
http://web.vjc.moe.edu.sg/dept/pe/Sailing%20Convenor%202006/C_Girls_Results.xls

I am so ashamed of myself. LOL. My name is like, printed there for the whole world to see!!! =(
anyway who cares. Wait till the next regatta, my name shall shoot up. LOL.

http://web.vjc.moe.edu.sg/dept/pe/Sailing%20Convenor%202006/C_Boys_Results.xls
oh well, poor Ryan and David. At least for this, the boys got 5th! The girls got 6th. Sigh.

Yay B Division! =D

Now that the competitions for C division are over, I now must concentrate on my studies! =D

Since Tuesday, all the sailors have not been doing any studying, so oh well. But now my parents have been nagging about my cca affecting my studies, and now I must put in double effort to prove to them that even though I spend more time sailing than studying these few days, my standard for studies will still be the same! JIAYOUS i tell myself.

Today the B division did really well.

THIRD among all the schools for B Div! We were all so shocked. Well, maybe not all, because its not by luck that they got 3rd. They are like, professionals compared to us in sailing. Its not luck, its the fact that they got skill. Oh well, now I must train harder, as the sailors are going for another REGATTA soon in August!

Really looking forward to it... I think its called Pesta Sukan regatta. From the MF gallery photos. haha. But after the Interschools we have a 2 week break from sailing, and after that we only have about 2 weeks to train before the Pesta Sukan. Lets just hope that the C Div [including me, duh] trains harder so that we could at least get good positions for the races?

Peck Khee is moving onto byte soon. I heard Lin Jie was too, until Mrs Sidhu felt he had a problem with his attitude for sailing. From what Mrs Sidhu and Ms Cheng told us, Lin Jie's sail was flapping most of the time, and he was actually spending most of his time slacking in the boat and dunno why, but he was also bailing water, throughout the whole few races! Mrs Sidhu said she could see Lin Jie from land, cos she brought binoculars along.

Today since the C Div didn't sail, we spent most of our time at the so-called 'hall' of NSC.

This morning when we were at school waiting for the bus to bring us to NSC, the sky started getting darker and darker...

It was like, night time, except the sky was slightly lighter than at night. At least we could sorta clearly see your hands when we were at school waiting. But it was, really really dark.

When the students assembled, we were still waiting for the bus. So we went out onto the car park of the school and waved our hands up in the air and exclaimed about how dark the sky was and how they might hoist up the AP over A [or I think its H] flag at NSC, so that we could go home. LOL

As soon as the bus came and we boarded, it started to rain. When we got to NSC, the rain still wasn't that heavy, but as soon as we got our stuff and sat at the hall of NSC for a while, it started to really pour!

Nicholas took out his Uno cards [Winnie the Pooh version! =D ] and we all started playing. The seniors took out their poker cards and played games like teiti, blackjack etc. We stayed there for a while, and finally we went to the outside of the auditorium of NSC to play Uno, which meant outside at pond there, we always called it.

Mrs Sidhu saw us playing as she walked pass, and she went "Wah, how come your cards got Winnie the Pooh on it somemore!" and she took the cards in my hand to examine it. She seemed a bit shocked it was not the normal, old red and whie Uno. Then she returned the cards to me and left. Haha.

Then after that we had fried rice, and we went back to the hall for breifing. Then as soon as the breifing was over, we went to help the seniors rig up their boats. It was still drizzling then, and everyone got really wet and stuff.

After that, the boys stayed in the hall, and the girls went to 'hibernate' in the "bags area" in the girls' toilet. LOL. We chatted a bit, and listened to music and played our handphone games and stuff, and Mrs Sidhu came in and we talked a bit more about people in sailing, what we felt during the competition, and since Luo Ling was the only B Div girl with us then, Mrs Sidhu asked her how she felt, and gave her some [as ms cheng said] 'motherly advice' to Luo Ling. haha.

Then they announced for the Optimist sailors to launch first, and Laser and Byte sailors had to wait for further notice. Then when the seniors launched, the winds were so strong! Ning Xin and I gasped at each other as we saw everyone hiking out like mad, and we were like, "OMG I want to sail in this wind okay! This wind is like, fabulous!!! I AM ITCHING TO SAIL!!!" even though we only had not sailed for about, one night and a few hours into the morning. But seriously, the wind was FANTASTIC! As soon as some sailors from other schools launched thier boats [mrs sidhu called them, the sotong sailors] into the sea, they capped. LOL. We were really itching to sail in that strong wind as people started to capsize even before they got onto their boats lol.

Then the day went past, we had pizza [i only had one slice cos I accompanied Lu Xin to go sit down and watch the byte sailors sail in that oh-so-strong-wind and she didn't wanna go back], we did homework, listened to music, slacked and watched the boys play soccer, then we played Aaron's yoyo, and I played frisbee with Quin and Aaron, then when the boys were playing soccer they kicked the ball over and it landed onto the rocks, and they had to go down to get it. About 3 times they did that. And the 3rd time? Well, lets just say I was wondering why the boys stayed at the 'ledge' of sand mourning, then I looked over and saw their soccerball floating in the sea. LOL.

We waited a while before the tide washed it in and it got caught in the rocks. It took the guys a really long time to retrieve the ball lor!!! LOL.

Okay shall post tomorrow... very tired now. Better pack my bootes and sailing camp shirt for tomorrow, as the seniors are wearing their SCHOOL UNIFORM AND TIE for the prize presentation, while we watch on jealous in our SAILING CAMP TEE. hmph.

Bye! =D

Thursday, July 06, 2006

Argh, today was disasterous! Though I have to say the winds today was totally my favourite type of wind : moderate!

I might not be sure if you'd classify it under moderate. But for me I guess it was..

Anyway, today the last 3 races were conducted. The last day of the race, so we have to really give it our all and pull up the ratings from yesterday.

During the 5th race [also the first race of the day, cos I also count it the races from yesterday], I had quite a good start, and I followed the tips given by Mrs Sidhu before we went for the race. She told me to point until my tell-tale drops, and then bear away a little. I tried that, and realised that I was even closer to the first buoy then before! I was so glad and gloated over the girl behind me - who obviously beared away too much and ended up having to do extra distance before tacking up.

I expected my positions today to be good too, but I still remained at 19/20. Actually, now the 'other' 20 came, and hence I am not counted as 18/20 but 19/20. Mubarak saw me staring at the bulletin board after I finished packing up and getting ready to leave. He laughed a bit, but then he said "Its okay lah. At least you never get last what." then he looked at the Boys C' Division Provisionals [or whatever] results and went "tsk tsk". He pointed at David and Ryan's score. Both of them were the last two. I guess they must be feeling pretty bad now. Poor them.

Then for the 6th race, I could have beat Ning Xin [my sec 2 senior] to the finish line, but since her score was the one being submitted to the total score for counting for the school's positioning, I gave way to her and beared away to loose a bit of my wind, and after she passed the finish line, I sheet in a little more and passed the line. She seemed so happy to have beaten me... but oh well, all for the school.

Yi Xuan, on the other hand, didn't do as badly as us. Her positioning for all the races was 9/20! On the final result I mean. As in, after all the races. She was so upset when we went to Mac with Peck Khee. She said "Wah lao, my positioning sucks lar. 9/20 leh! So what lar..." and Peck Khee said "You are indirectly suan-ning us you know." because both of our positions were very bad. But Yi Xuan still insisted that her positioning was considered bad.

Anyway, on the 7th race, the winds really picked up and from moderate, it became strong.

Everyone was hiking out, and so was I. Tried my best to keep the boat flat, but it was hard for me to be able to do so, as the wind was so strong. So I decided to use one hiking strap instead of two. It was easier to keep the boat flat when hiking out with one toe strap instead of two, but its also easier to fall out.

So i was careful not to fall out and make my boat capsize. But at the last race it was my unluckiest. When going on a Run, I was so close to rounding the 3rd buoy! But when I was about one boat length away from the buoy, my boat capsized and I lost 4 positions as people sailed past me, including Ning Xin. She was actually slower than me for about all the 3 races today! But before we both cross the finish line, I would give in to her. lol.

But when I uprighted the boat and went on a Reach to jybe around the buoy, I noticed that if I could just sailed faster I could catch up and get back my 4 positions. And so I sailed, sheet in, point and point and bear away and bear away and hiked out like I was mad and I caught up with Ning Xin! She was actually 3 positions before me, but I actually caught up with her!

I was amazed at myself, and Ning Xin went "I'm gonna get trashed, and I don't want to get trashed by you too!" or something like that. But now she was nearer to buoy 2, but yet she overlayed, and I ended up infront of her when going on a Run. But in the end she still beat me to the finish line by about, half a boat?

When recovering our boats, it was totally unlucky for me.

I took out my daggerboard and eased out and jumped out of my boat too far from the entrance point to NSC, i actually wasn't that far, and I could just pull my boat there with Wen Feng's help, no sweat!

But Wen Feng had to be gei kiang, and act cool. So he told me that he wanted to sail nearer to the breakwater point, so that it would be easier to pull up my boat. Bryan stood there with a MOESSC byte trolley, but yet Wen Feng told him "Byran siam lah! I going to sail there lar! Nearer to pull lar!!!" and put in my mainsheet into the innerloop of the mainsheet pulley, put the daggerboard in and sailed off.

No surprise, some of the people still waiting for their teammates to bring them a trolley stared at him. I mean, who would sail with like, a mainsheet rigged up halfway?!

When he got off my boat, he jumped too near to shore, forgetting that the waves were very strong and hard to fight against. So when he jumped off on starboard side, he didn't grab my boat in time...

The waves washed it onto shore, and as some people from TJC [i think] rushed over to help him, I rushed there too. He had sailed quite fast due to the strong winds, and I couldn't catch up since I saw some KC [Katong Convent] girls having problems with their boat so I helped them push it up and rushed off to recover my boat.

Whoops! BIG mistake. I saw that Wen Feng didn't grab my boat and I saw him and this JC guy [i think TJC, again] running after the boat as it was washed ashore! I was so shocked, and ran to the boat. I was too late -

MY TILLER EXTENSION SNAPPED INTO HALF.

Ouch. My daggerboard was also washed off the boat due to the huge waves that like, sweep you off your feet when you are desperately trying to grind your feet into the sand to prevent yourself from being washed with the waves. I ran to the boat, dumped my daggerboard into the boat and I noticed that Tzu Ling watching as everything happened. As soon as the tiller extension snapped into half, she SCREAMED. She was like, OMG! NOOOO! and stood there staring and stoning.

She was like, so upset. Her heart was shattered into a million pieces. I know, because she treats the boat like her own. She loves the boat a lot, like she was the one who bought it.

And all Wen Feng could say was : "Opps, woah! The tiller extension broke into half!" and didn't even feel apologetic about it.

I stared at the other end of the tiller extension that was sticking up in the air, and felt like screaming my head off too, because I knew how mad Tzu Ling would be. As soon as my boat left the waters, she came up to me and asked for the other half of the tiller extension and she took out the tiller extension itself. She was really mad, and didn't really ask me in a nice tone or anything. She didn't even want to look at me!

She angrily left and reported the broken tiller extension to Mrs Sidhu.

Not saying that its Wen Feng's fault, but if he didn't bother to show off infront of people, and if he just listened to me and just recovered the boat when Bryan came over with the trolley, this would not have happened.

When the beach was practically empty, I started scolding Wen Feng for not watching out on the equipment, and for not bringing the boat to sea when we were always repeatedly told that when there were big waves, we were supposed to bring the boat nearer to sea than to shore.

David came over, and Ryan came to complain about his daggerboard being chipped off. Woah, he showed me the daggerboard chip. HUGE. Then David also told us his daggerboard was chipped. Ouch. Then David looked into my boat, and saw that my daggerboard too was chipped. He told me, and i screamed somemore.

Later when going to NSC lugging along the heavy boat in the heavy trolley, Tzu Ling came to me again, and asked grumpily when my daggerboard chipped. I said during recovering of the boat. She nodded and angrily walked off...

Then she helped David take down his clue-tie and all, and she smiled and laughed as she talked to them [Bryan and Ryan they all were there too]! But since the tiller extension broke, Tzu Ling never smiled when she talked to me, and she only frowned.

then when i finally dragged my boat into NSC, Mrs Sidhu came to me and asked angrily if i signed off. I said no and she said really loudly "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE THEN?!?! GO SIGN OFF NOW BEFORE THE SIGN OFF TIME LIMIT IS OVER OKAY. TAKE DOWN YOUR SAIL AND GO SIGN OFF." and then I said "Okay, but I only just came in-" "-JUST CAME IN?! YOU WERE STANDING THERE DOING NOTHING. DON'T THINK I DON'T KNOW!" and I was very shocked. "GET DOWN YOUR SAIL NOW AND SIGN OFF!"

I was shocked. I didn't stand there doing nothing, I didn't even laze around! I was being scolded for nothing, and I felt really sad. Why I came in so late was because no one helped me recover my boat, and I couldn't solo to recover because of the strong current and waves that would either make my boat capsize or if not get washed ashore.

I noticed that Tzu Ling saw me when she came to help, she pointed at my direction to Luo Ling, then Luo Ling nodded her head and WALKED AWAY! I was like, huh? At least get me a trolley please?! In the end, I was the first person from MF to reach shore, and I was the last person from MF to get ONTO shore. And now I get scolded cos no one helped me. What crap!

As soon as mrs sidhu launched her scolding at me and walked off, I think Aaron and Lu Xin got the signal that I was gonna be a tap because I was already very upset because Tzu Ling was mad at me, so Aaron helped me hold my sail as I tried to untie the knot and bring down my sail. Then Aaron said that he'd help me bring my boat back while I go sign out. Then when I said it was okay, he said nvm, he would bring it back to the MOE washing point. Such a good friend! So I went to sign out, and i saw Quin signing off too.

She saw me, and offered me her Oreo cookie pack [that Mrs Sidhu gave every one who was competiting]. I guess she noticed it too. I told her no thanks and she kept pushing it to me, then she kept telling me to take it, but in the end i forced it back to her so she didn't push it to me. Then I leaned against the wall and cried lor. Then opps, I think Daryl saw me. So I pulled down my hat and rushed into the toilet with Quin behind me.

So after that we went out to unrig, and I saw Mrs Sidhu at MOESSC washing point. Opps, I decided not to do anything except unrig, before Mrs Sidhu scolds me again.

When I was done, Peck Khee and Ning Xin called me over and asked me to find someone to share a slice of pizza with! I went to put back my sail and Peck Khee called Quin over to share a slice with me. Hahaa... she ate half a piece and i ate half. lol. We had to share, everyone did. haha.

It was not a nice day, made me feel so upset for the rest of the day. I hope Tzu Ling won't be mad at me tomorrow... please. But I'm like, really sorry cos I'm sharing that boat with her for competitions. And oh gawd, 20 bucks gone cos of the chipped daggerboard!!! =(

When we got back to school, it was only 4 plus, and I realised that today some sec 4s were taking their O or whatever level oral exam. I guess the exam ended, cos the canteen was noisy and crowded when we got back. Everyone was like, looking at us. We were the only ones in school that were in home clothing, and slippers [only some were wearing shoes]. Whoops, so paisei. lol.

Tomorrow shall be better, and I'm not racing tomorrow! YAY! Tomorrow and the day after is for B' Division. GOOD LUCK! =D they had better be top 3 cos Farhana is coming on Friday, the last day, which means prize giving etc. She hopes for our school to receive a prize. Since all of the C' Division couldn't do it, the B div shall do it for us! lol.

The competition today was totally cool! Except for the third race, where the wind died down last minute and caused me to get myself a DNF [Did Not Finish]. Argh. Hope i can discard that as my worst race.

In total, there were 4 races held. I loved the fourth and last race [for the day]! The wind suddenly became very strong, so strong that all the girls were hiking out as hard as they could. I was totally enjoying myself! =D

And the best thing was, I DIDN'T GET LAST FOR ANY RACE!

But the weird thing was, I got 2nd last for the first race, 2nd last for the 2nd race, and dunno how many last [i think 5 or 6th last] for the 3rd race and i think 3rd last for the last race of the day.

And my position?

19/20!!! 19 upon TWENTY girls for C Division! I was so shocked, I felt so weird suddenly. I tried my best, raced my hardest, and when I realised I didn't get last for any race, the only thing I felt was joy! But upon checking the results on the bulletin board, I noticed my position was a whooping 19/20. And suddenly, I felt so upset.

I mean, I expected so much of myself, and hoped i didn't do badly for the race. But oh well, I guess I'll just have to try harder tomorrow. I guess I should reflect on myself; where did I go wrong to end up in such a position? What did I do wrong, and what are the things I should do to improve on tomorrow?

When coming back to shore, the wind was lovely! Made me hike out a lot, but I enjoyed it. Although hiking out may be tiring, but it is also quite fun.

During the 3rd race when the wind died down and I was sailing really slowly, I almost fell asleep. As I sailed, I yawned, grabbed some sea water and splashed it on my face, yawn somemore and blink a bit and carry on sailing. I was so tired out after the previous 2 races. Really tiring, even though the wind was just nice, not too much hiking out to do and not much of a need to keep wondering what to do during light wind situations. lol.

Farhana just gave me some really good sailing tips, thanks Farhana! She's a very nice senior of mine, and she is always cheerful and jokative when we see her. haha.

After we were debreifed by Mrs Sidhu about the sailing competition today, Aaron, Quin, Bryan and I went to Ka-Li-Pok to play LAN. First time my parents ever let me play lan. lol. Actually, not parents, only my dad. We played maple. David, Ryan, Wen Feng, Liang Hong and Chee Teng also went to play LAN, but they played DOTA upstairs. So we only saw Wen Feng after we played for 1 hr, cos Wen Feng also played for only 1 hr, while Chee Teng and the rest played for 2 hrs i think. Waste of money! But for me, Aaron decided to blanja [treat] me to that 2 bucks, cos he begged me to go along, and he wanted to pay for me since I agreed. I wanted to pay half of it, but he didn't want me to, so oh well.

Anyway, I have been feeling weird ever since I came home from my gran's place. I'm feeling really dizzy now, and my stomach is starting to ache... very pain! I'm starting to get a bit of a headache too.. ouch.... T_T

I guess I shall go and sleep now... before I actually feel any more worse, and hope that tomorrow the race will go on smoothly and that I get good positions, and that I would feel sorta better tomorrow. Hmm...

Wah, tiring day and my legs are very tired! =D

Err.. omg! I was just using blog search, and I typed in my name. I found this:

Global Communicator: L. Marilyn Crawford
27 Jun 2006 by Gwendolyn Quinn
L. Marilyn Crawford President & CEO Primetime OmnimediaNYC. L. Marilyn Crawford, President and CEO, Primetime Omnimedia, has built her extraordinarily successful career in strategic marketing through creative ideas and hard work. ...

omgoodness! Note the part highlighted in RED [color included for colorblind people -_-] ! SEE THAT NAME!!!

GWENDOLYN QUINN.

QUINTESSENCE LIU! There's someone who has the combined name of you and me! =D haha. Erm, except that for me and Quintessence, it should be Gwendolyn Quin, not Gwendolyn QuinN. I was so shocked when I saw the Gwendolyn Quinn. haha! Cos I have a friend named Quintessence [we call her Quin] and my name is [duh] Gwendolyn =D

so, BOOYA! end of yet again, another 'SHOCKING' story!

I went to visit Singapore's LARGEST [as stated on the poster] Theme Park!

When exiting Escape at the end of the day, we noticed that the banner only stated LARGEST theme park. Instead of LARGEST, why not ONLY? Cos Escape Theme Park really is Singapore's ONLY theme park. Notice how people actually change the words just to hide the true, cold facts and lie to people about the bigger image. Doh!

Anyway. So we went to Escape. First thing to do :

FIND A LOCKER!

Yes, okay, we were there pretty early. We reached Downtown East at near 11am, so there wasn't a crowd there. So we happily skipped to a locker and put in the money [grumbled a bit] and shove our stuff in. Then Alicia made me wear a sleeveless top with her, ouch. I hate sleeveless tops! But oh well, after we got to Escape and Alicia made me change into the top she brought, Elizabeth and Kerrie obviously didn't allow me to change back into my pink Coverse top, and they took it away from me and pulled me away from the toilet!!! The suffering i received!

Secondly,

CHIONG TO DAYTONA GO-CART! Whoo!

There was only like, 4 people who were racing at first. When we went to the area where Daytona was, there was no one infront of us in the queue, only people who just came back from driving a few laps. So when those people got off their go-carts, we immediately rushed in when the girl gave us the signal. Remembering my favourite car I took the last time I came with Celine, I immediately hopped into number 16, my fav car! =D even though it was second in the parking area, which meant I would have to go second. Kerrie was first, because her car was infront of mine and hence she left first.

The funny thing was that when we started, I could practically overtake Kerrie at the part where you go like, in circles upwards. Then I didn't wanna overtake her for fear of banging into her... so I stepped on the brakes lightly and told her to "GOGOGO!!" and that "I DOWAN TO BANG YOU!!!" but she was scared of speeding all the way up at that part.. so I had to overtake her in the end. She was like screaming and oei-ing. So in the end, I finished last. haha.

Thirdly,

ENJOY ALL THE RIDES! =D

So we went around trying all the rides. Kerrie, Elizabeth and Alicia even went on the choo choo train! The one for like, 5 year olds? Where you sit on train carts and you can sit in the cabin or at the engine there? Ya!!! They were so childish to sit on that. I stayed outside and watched them slowly go past going "HI GWEN!" and I, being scarstic, told them "WOAH! How much fun is THAT! There is nothing better than sitting on a choo choo train for like, practically 3 year olds!"

Seriously, even the carts itself seemed too small for them! -_-

Anyway, the rest of the day seemed a bit dull, cos everyone was tired and we turned grouchy. Even me. And oh ya, the candy floss there was HUMONGOUS! Except for the fact that we were the first to buy the candy floss at that stall for the day, and hence ours was considered small when compared to other peoples'. Just wait till I ask Elizabeth if she captured an image of other people's candy floss. You'd be shocked!

Tomorrow is my long anticipated, most-feared, most-dreaded INTERSCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

I think I will like, totally freak out! =( the competition shall be tough, and i do believe I should memorise my course and flags more, before I embarass myself by going on the wrong course, like David and Jack did during the Singapore Nationals, where they went on course I1 instead of I2. They were so embarassed after that, and they earned themselves an DNF, which means Did Not Finish, and it pulled down their ranking.

Oh ya, shall post more pics. FROM SAILING CAMP! YAY people, YAY! =D finally, they got it uploaded on the MFSS gallery! =D

Going on a run. Whoops, I hate going on runs. See those PICOs with purple sails? and That TOPPER [red and white sail]. Jack, Bryan [topper] and Aaron [Topper]. LOL

The MF sailing team =D . one morning after physical training. Everyone was still half asleep and sweaty and stinky. haha

During the BBQ at SAFYC on the second night. Mubarak and Ryan the satay man! ahhaa!

Another pic of the sailing team after the BBQ. All sleepy already. zzz...

The girls of MF sailing team =D But samantha didn't come, so she wasn't in this pic. Lu Xin also. Wah, in total only 11 girls in sailing! =O

And now, the boys -_-

The sailing team with our teachers-in-charge [Mrs Sidhu, Ms Cheng and Mr Lee] on the last day of sailing camp at SAFYC.

MF sailing team with some ex-captains [and seniors].

We saw this while sailing on the last day [or whatever day]. Must be practicing for National Day Parade! =D yay Singapore! -_-

The lower sec girls studying during the camp... haha! This is the first camp I've seen that the teachers have reserved a time [for this case I think it was at night 9 plus] for all of us to study!

"Be mighty in boat and speed" lol. For Mayflower Secondary it is "Be mighty in thought and deed" and so some of the seniors changed it to "Be mighty in Boat and Speed"!. haha

I guess that shall be all. And oh ya, somemore pics from washing of boats that time =D

Me washing [either Tzu Ling or Luo Ling's boat. I think its Luo Ling] the boat! =D

Me and Quin washing MOE byte 8. She was spraying water at the boat, but also indirectly spraying water at me too -_-

Mrs Sidhu took this pic of Nicholas, Joseph and I for the Student Leaders campaigning! Its a nice picture, with the school sail SIN4433 for optimist behind us. =D

Okay, I guess I shall sleep now... really tired, and tomorrow I have the Interschools on. *yawn*
It shall be another tiring day tomorrow. MUST. GEAR. UP! YAY interschools! I must not get last for any race this time. I am determined and confident that my school would win! We shall emerge champions =D MF SAILING TEAM RULES! [thinking optimistically helps a lot for races, quoted from Mrs Sidhu =p]

ARGH! Sometimes, I just wished I could have so much tecnology knowledge, that I could like, corrupt people's blogs and stuff. DAMN IT! Grr. We all think the line has been crossed a bit.

Well, I should just learn to cool down now. haha.

Tomorrow, ESCAPE! Woohoo! With Alicia, Kerrie and Elizabeth and maybe Alicia's friend. =D hope cia's friend can come too. =D

Many things have happened this year, I feel. Many things that made me happy, shocked, upset, heartbroken, touched, etc. But recently, the things that have happened are never looking on the bright side of life... how should I put it? Its all depressing for me. Oh, lets just hope that whatever happened between Yan Wen and I, shall not repeat in my secondary school life. Like, not between Yan Wen and I lar... but between me and a friend who I knew since first day of orientation? But at least Yan Wen and I are friends now. =D

Cia just came over just now and we watched HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL's encore on Disney Channel. Kerrie used my Disney account [she rushed me to sign up, since she wasn't on her comp and all] and tried her luck for those High School Musical giveaways... a soundtrack which is autographed!!! Like, OMG! And a HSM JACKET! So cool lah. WILDCATS STYLE =D

Anyway, we were like, so into the show lah. Then we watched until it ended; 9.30pm. Then Cia stayed here till like, 10.20+ and her dad came to fetch her. Rahas. so funny... cos this late afternoon when she came over, she had problems. She kept getting lost. Funny thing was, she took the correct lift up to my house outisde, then she though "wah so plain and so little slippers, sure not Gwen's house lah" and left!!! Later I told her the directions, and when she rang my doorbell, she was like, laughing and telling me this was the house which looks quite plain and with very little slippers -_- HAHAHA.

ALICIA, YOU ARE SOOO CUTE CAN!

Can't wait to go ESCAPE! NONO, not the Haunted House dearies. HAUNTED HOUSE PRACTICALLY MADE ME CRY! So scary one lar! Wahaha... but tickets price for 13 and above is like, $16.30, Kerrie told me. I was so shocked larh... 16 bucks for one ticket that lets you into a lousy theme park with like, NO ROLLER COASTERS EXCEPT ALPHA 8?!?!

And no way will I sit in Alpha 8 peeps; the last time i went there with Celine, Xiu Zhen and Yan Qi, I practically flew out of the cart cos the people didn't secure it properly. It almost killed Celine and I okay!
'
Anyway... shall blog more later or something. Oh ya before I end the post, should show you the poster JOSEPH did up for our campaigning for being Student Councilors! JNG, the future Student Councilors aka sailors! Whee~

We are sailors; We are workers; Vote for us as your future councilors!

Wahaha!
JOSEPH, like, thank you can! You totally rock can!!! =D Okay, you may not think this poster is nice, but to me it rocks! JNG! =D lol.

Another funny pic he sent to me..

Not true lah can! We're not evvviiiiiiillllllll.

Okay, i shall go do up another poster for JNG's campaigning! wooh! =D
Shan't slack in this; I must play my fair share! =D

Whoops. Very long since I updated. Teeheehee =D

Anyway.
Went to MOS early in the morning to meet Kerrie to do up the Math project game board. Supposed to meet at 10am, but I woke up late then when she called to make sure I was awake it was already 9:40+! Whoops! Then I rush rush, but tried printing the pics again, then cannot. Then bathe and rush and by the time I got to MOS it was 10:50 and I was all sweaty and my hair was like, WOOSH!

Worse, I made Kerrie wait for practically an hour. Sorry dear. =(

When I got there surprisingly she wasn't like, going to scream until the whole Jubilee building collasped. She just like told me how long she waited and like nagged a bit etc. Then after that she was okay. Thanks Ker, you're the best! =D

Anyways. After that we couldn't really get anything done cos I didn't have the pics of America's stars etc so that we could do up the board. The only thing we could do was to thickened the lines of the board. So Kerrie suggested going to her place to do the board and I was like, okay.

After I ate finish at MOS, we went up to the 3rd [and last] storey of Jubilee and went to X-ZONE! wooh! Super fun lah! X-ZONE was like, totally empty can? Only like, 3+ people [not counting the counter staff] there lor! And we saw one guy playing the drum that game XD damn cool. He played so super fast lah!

The first thing we did when we got there was to look at Time Crisis, high-five each other and rush to the counter to buy a card. okay, wait, thats 3 things. haha.

The moment we got the card we rushed to Time Crisis II and scanned the card. Whoo! Damn fun larhs! Then we played, and we both died a few times. Then we kept playing and playing and topping up the card and topping up the card like, 3 times or more while playing lar! We played Time Crisis II until we completed the WHOLE FREAKING GAME!

Like, HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!

We got to the 6th position of the game larh! I bet many people didn't even make it NEAR lorh! We completed like, EVERY SINGLE FREAKING STAGE OF THE GAME! Wuahaha. Game+$$$ queens man.

After that, played a few more games. Then we stare stare at this other guy who came to play the like, drum game there. He was super cool lah! Play until like damn pro liddat. So pei fu!

Then we left and went to take MRT to Yio Chu Kang to Kerrie's place. Her mom and sister were both at home. I said hi, then I noticed her sister was super skinny lah! So good lor. No wonder Kerrie's jealous. But its not like Kerrie is fat lor. =)

We cut off some pictures of superstars from like, America Australia etc, from magazines. Then I started reading some mags from America or err dunno what country. But of course is buy from Singapore one lah. 8 bucks for one mag leh! oh my goodness. So ex. And both the mags are like, different titles one larh. One is M and another is J-14. Although both are diff titles, BOTH HAD ZAC EFRON ON THE FRONT COVER!

Woah, High School Musical has got Zac Efron famous man!

But of course lah, he is like so shuai lorh! *screams*

Anyway, we do the board etc, and her mom calls us down for teabreak. When going downstairs, Kerrie said this is all because of me, because she's never had teabreak in her life. LOL.

So around 4:40+ i left her place and we waited at the bus stop for like, dunno how long for 825. Then when like, 2 163s and 2 855s went past, we were like, a bit fed up. So Kerrie went to look at the erm... the pole that every bus stop has to state which buses stop there. Then Kerrie asked if today was a Saturday and when I told her yah she was like, OMG! We waited here for nothing! Last bus was at 2:30!!!!!!!

Like, what the heck? We wasted our time lah.... -_-

Anyway when I got home my bro wasn't home, so called my mom asked her where my bro and maid went. She said that they might be downstairs cos my bro wanted to ride the bike. So of course got to go downstairs again lor. SO FREAKING WARM LAH! I sweated like hell, haha!

When i finally went up with them, i immediately turned on the com. lol. COMPUTER ADDICT!!! =D
