hahas! yesterday for the dragonboating the girls got 2nd for CUP!!! CUP YOU KNOW!!! This so totally ROCKS! wuahahas. we beat all the teams of girls EXCEPT CHIJ Katong Convent. But we still congratulated them by giving them a cheer.
Farhana kept asking us to give 3 cheers, 3 cheers and 3 cheers for a lot of stuff.

We also kept doing the MF woosh! thingy. oohhh I just love that. hahas.
THIS SO TOTALLY ROCKS! hahas. when we docked the boat after the last race, we were screaming like hell. we splashed water at each other and the guy from Temasek Poly. thought we were obviously MAD. I'm telling you this, when we finished the race, if you were there, you could hear our screams.
But when we got back to shore [and mrs sidhu, ms cheng and mr lee kept going you guys did very well!] we were complaining how tired we were. honest, dragonboating is NOT exactly the kinda thing you'd wanna do every week or day. It'll kill you. Farhana was also congratulating us for getting 2nd. Farhana, you rock! If it wasn't for you being our drummer, we'd not have gotten 2nd! =)
When we went back the boys seemed damn glum. But all of them had their handphones out and were either smsing, looking at photos or taking photos -_-'''. And we thought they were upset cause they didn't make it into the finals. They got last for the heats. Poor them. But they seemed to have gotten over it PRETTY QUICKLY. So I doubt they were ever upset. Well, maybe upset over the fact that they had to carry our bags for us =p
We're gonna receive our medals on Monday infront of the school, mrs sidhu said. hahas. so excited! my first medal!!! well, after hearing that you must be thinking "wah what a looser. only when she's sec 1 then get a medal?!?! LOOSER" but who cares what you're thinking? i don't, thats for sure.

when we got there, it was almost 3pm. while taking attendance, those people helping out took SO DARN LONG. we were all rushing them to HURRY UP. then while they were taking attendance, Jacelyn came to me and said "hey you cannot run liao. can give back the number tag i gave you this morning?" and i was like "wah lao?!?! now you tell me cannot run?!?! what the..." and she was all "sorry lar we replaced all those in dragonboating cause the teacher say she doesn't know what time you guys coming back. sorry" then i was so mad. i started shaking with anger.
after that i heard shriram announcing the people taking part in 4 x 100m run. I listened to those from Unicorn..
"Pearlin Tan from oneEndeavour, Melody Neo from oneDilligent [my cousin], Jacelyn Pang from oneDilligent and lastly we have Gwendolyn Neo, also from oneEndeavour!" and I shrecked. Ying Tsui was all "huh? i thought you were canceled from the list?" then i saw Jacelyn walking past the front of the audience area for Unicorn and I ran down to meet her and asked her if I could run. Then she brought me to mrs sidhu and asked if i could run.
mrs s. : is she faster than that whoever you replaced her with?
Jacelyn : yeah.
mrs s. : who did you replace her with?
Jacelyn : Nicolette. From 1E also.
mrs s. : is Gwen faster than her? [she obviously doesn't know who Nicolette is]
Jacelyn : ya. faster.
mrs s. : then let her run lor!

I think we were team B] and we went over to our positions to be breifed. then it started. jacelyn forgot to shout my name, but i saw her coming and got prepared so it was okay. she apologised to me later for that.
Then we BEAT Pegasus's team B! I thought we were last cause we were all so close. then the guy over the PA system announced that 2nd runner up goes to Unicorn! then i kept asking everyone "whats 2nd runner up? is it 3rd?" and they were all "ya la ya la".
BUT
at the prize giving ceremony, they gave OUR medal to...

Stupid errors. when everything was over Jacelyn went to tell Mr Tan. then those medals were given back to one of the teachers. I guess if its ours [Unicorn's] we'd get them back on Monday. Jacelyn said we should be given back the medals ON STAGE. Give us back our GLORY! if its given back to us by our form teacher in class, well... we'd be mad. GIVE US BACK OUR GLORY!!! We didn't get to shake hands with the Guest of Honour, we didn't get to take photos, my Unicorn sailing friends totally thought I was a looser, and now people think Unicorn is lousier than ever. Griffin got 1st for house campion, AGAIN. Same as last year. Wheepee... NOT! Now I guess Shriram will make fun of me again. He sure will... even before the sports day he was already laughing at me saying that Unicorn sucks and that his house, Griffin, rocks! wth lor. now he will surely tease me about my house getting the last house again. haizz... but UNICORN WILL STILL ROCK!!!

the stupid freggin' internet giving me problems again.
the IPW group came over just now. Now my room's a mess. hahas. but when we reached my home we realised that the diskette was with Preethi and the other day Preethi claimed it was with Alicia. WTH lor. She really got attitude problem lar. The other day in the comp lab she suddenly came and said "You guys aren't doing, ANYTHING. You aren't even writing, ANYTHING. You guys made me do, EVERYTHING." notice the commas between each sentence? Yeah, thats how she speaks. She speaks with a pause between each sentence.
argh.
Don't feel like posting anything much now.
I'm not exactly in the mood too.. hahas.

My hands are now white, orange and white [again] all over. hahas. Went to Elizabeth's place to do the project on Japan with Elizabeth [duh], Kerrie, I [like, DUH?!] and Gan LK. he was like, so irritating throughout the whole thing. We stayed at Elizabeth's place till about 6:23pm and when i got home it was already like, 7+. but thats cause i didn't have the keys and my maid went over to my gran's place with my bro. i hate it when they do that. they sometimes go to my gran's place without telling me lor. damn irritating. sometimes i have to walk to my gran's place [its not that far, just the opposite block but still tiring lars. i'm a pig] to get the keys and walk back to my house.
i just pleaded with my mom to give me a set of the house keys. hahas.
like she would liddat lors.
ehh the paint from the marker like cannot come off liddat. hahas. when my mother came back she saw my hands and went "Why your hands so dirty???" and i was like "no lars we do the project mahs." then she was like "oh." hahas.

now i'm very bored. just now the group [me, kerrie, elizabeth, chu xian, joey and stupid gan li kiong] came over to do the project on Japan but now they went back liao. hahas. now my room is so messy.. geez. should have asked them to tidy up before they left!
liz left last.. hey waitaminnit.. i realised that "liz left last" = L3 ! Hahas. the other time during sailing pt Peck Khee made fun of my name and said "G3 = Go Gwen Go" and Yi Xuan was like "Diao?" hahas. okay continued.. liz left last and so she stayed for dinner.. and when i smsed her after she left about going on a diet she said she was eating her dinner no. 2. Obviously joking lar she. but if that was true.. well... i'll just say i'll never be able to see her slim. hahas!
while doing the project.. my wonderfully stupid permant marker ran out of ink.
This is how it went..

Marker: *runs out of ink*
Me: Damn. It died again. Should I say R.I.P.? *knocks marker and tortures it by using it to scribble hardly on the fulscape paper*

I WANTED THAT HANDPHONE! and so did my mom. she wanted to trade in her Samsung phone for that sleek Nokia one... hahas. which i demand that i borrow at least for 364 days a year. hahas
well.. going to pack my stuff cause i'm going to my gran's place to stay with mel tonight... arghs. sian. i always told my dad he should buy me a laptop so that i can bring it over when i stay there. since i stay there like, every Saturday night?!?!

HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY!
everyone, CHEER FOR THE JOY OF GOOD FRIDAY cause its on a Friday which concludes why i'm happy. ITS ON A SCHOOL DAY! oh, the JOY!

went to kerrie's house yesterday.. it was sooooooooooo big! hahas.. it was very nice too =) so neat! compared to my room... hahas. after that at 11pm+ went to celine's house. we [as in my mom and i] stayed there till like, 3am? when i went home i immediately thumped on my bed and slept =)
as i said, i'm a natural born piggy!
my parents want to go out for lunch later but i am so not going!! i'm a lazy pig lor.. hahas. but my parents are insisting that its a holiday and that its very rare that we can go out to eat together.. geez. like i wanna go.

Yay.. another 5 more days till my birthday! Counting down.. hahas =)
Alicia, Kerrie, Elizabeth and Eileen planning to surprise me some day this week... with dunno what. Alicia and Kerrie couldn't be bothered to tell me when I asked.. its supposed to be a secret and a surprise! Hahas..
Today Ms Cheng said that the sec 1 girls [sailors] will take part in the Sailing Nationals [or thats what she said?]! Quin and I were like... happily cheering for ourselves. But Ms Cheng said some of the sec 1 boys will not be taking part.. poor them. But then what to say? For the sec 1 girl sailors theres only Quin and I. Only 2 girls okay! So sad.. boohoos... hahas.
During lunch [before sailing PT] I stayed with Aishah they all at the cafe tables [blue ones] cause Aishah and Bernice were DJing! =) Later, Aishah said "Theres a deddiiiiccaattiiiiooonn!" and Bernice asked from who to whom and Aishah said its to "Gwendolyn Neo from 1Endeavour. Actually, the whole of 1E would like to wish our class class-chairperson a very happy birthday. Which is on the 8th of April, or should I say, this Saturday." I was like, hugging Aishah and Bernice for the kind thought, though it was Aishah who suggested giving me a dedication. Aishah, you rawk! Aishah chose the song "Beautiful Soul" to be played for me. I was like sitting there and saying a million thanks to them... hahas. Then when I hugged Aishah first, Bernice say I pian xin. So I go hug her. Then she was like "Ahhhh!!! Nooooo~!" hahas. Then I was like "Oi you say I pian xin to Aishah then now I hug you you say no.. hahas.. then we laughed.
I just love today!

My internet went bersak. AGAIN. Speak about needing to get a new internet connection!
Anyway.. now I'm using MSN Explorer to type this post. You must be thinking "Yeah so what? Like, what the heck does this have to do with me?" Yeps... nothing to do with you but everything to do with me.. I'm just trying it out. I noticed that when you click the 'sign out' button on the screen, they will say "Bye-bye" before returning the screen to a small one which asks which user you'd like to use. Hahas... this is very interesting.
I've not been online for the past week due to the internet connection going nuts-o. So yeah, I'm back again, with great news for myself! Hahas..
I passed my sailing test! Both practical and theory!!! Omg, boy am I ever happy. For one thing, I don't have to pay extra money to re-take the test. But the bad news is that Mrs Sidhu said we were to 'lan' aka lousy to sail with the seniors. Well, we'll prove her wrong! Haha... but she said that when they [as in the teachers] think that we're ready, we'd join the seniors. ONE BY ONE. Like, how sucky could that get? If I were the first to go [not like I ever will be] I would ask them if I can stay put with my group for another session and wait till she asks someone else to go first. Like maybe David or Jack. THEN when she asks me I would go. It'll be so embarassing to go and capsize right infront of the seniors, especially when Justin is already calling us NOOBS. He walked past us last Thursday while we were rigging up and he shouted "NOOBS!" at us. Just nicely, all the sec 1s were using Bytes except Bryan and Aaron [they're taking the Picos], which means Justin noted that we were all there so that he could be refering to us.
Halfway through the sailing session on Thursday Aaron changed boats with Jack, as ordered by Mrs Sidhu. A few moments after Aaron got on, he capped. I think he forgot how sensitive a byte was. When he was training with Chee Teng when he first joined [he joined later than Quin and I], he used a byte, too.
SURPRISINGLY Wen Feng could take a byte but the moment we got out to sea, he CAPPED. Haha. David, Jack and I didn't cap at all.. phew. We're already used to how sensitive the byte is. The moment Wen Feng capped, David, Jack and I sailed past him and shouted "Wah Wen Feng the looser capped? Good lehs! Haha... huo gai!!!" and sailed off. Don't think we're mean, but that was exactly what Wen Feng said to us when we first took the byte and kept capping. Wen Feng didn't really seemed to be pissed by the fact that we were teasing him, but instead, complained at how the byte keeps on 'yao lai yao qu' all the time. And we were like, oh too bad. But later he got used to it.
The only thing he didn't know was that a byte was not supposed to hit the rocks at the breakwaters by the shore. He actually took his daggerboard out so early and his byte almost hit the rocks... he doesn't know how fragile bytes are compared to Picos, when Jack had already mentioned in his ear that bytes are made out of fibre glass [I'm not sure of this]. Lucky for him when we saw him drifting to the rocks, we practically shouted for him to put his daggerboard down. But when he heard us, he acted all smart and argued that "We're reaching shore, no need to put the daggerboard down lar". But when we shouted somemore to get that into his head, he finally put the daggerboard down and tackked to prevent hitting the rocks, which saved him from a scolding from Mrs Sidhu. Stupid hor? And he sometimes claims that he is smart... like, PUI?
I can't wait till 21st April. DRAGONBOAT RACING!!! Woohoo... I love the month of April [except for the facts that our common tests are all squished into April]... the Sports day is also in April [same day as the dragonboat racing... 21st April.], my birthday is in April [hint hint.. hahas no lar joking... I won't be as mean as to expect a present, but I sure wouldn't mind one!], and lemme think... nothing else liaoz. Hahas...

He actually took his daggerboard out so early and his byte almost hit the rocks... he doesn't know how fragile bytes are compared to Picos, when Jack had already mentioned in his ear that bytes are made out of fibre glass [I'm not sure of this]. Lucky for him when we saw him drifting to the rocks, we practically shouted for him to put his daggerboard down. But when he heard us, he acted all smart and argued that "We're reaching shore, no need to put the daggerboard down lar". But when we shouted somemore to get that into his head, he finally put the daggerboard down and tackked to prevent hitting the rocks, which saved him from a scolding from Mrs Sidhu. Stupid hor? And he sometimes claims that he is smart... like, PUI?
I can't wait till 21st April. DRAGONBOAT RACING!!! Woohoo... I love the month of April [except for the facts that our common tests are all squished into April]... the Sports day is also in April [same day as the dragonboat racing... 21st April.], my birthday is in April [hint hint.. hahas no lar joking... I won't be as mean as to expect a present, but I sure wouldn't mind one!], and lemme think... nothing else liaoz. Hahas...
